The proposed stochastic process model is based on Mixture Density Networks and Bézier curves with Gaussian random variables as control points. A key advantage of this model is given by the ability to generate multi-mode predictions in a single inference step, thus avoiding the need for Monte Carlo simulation. 606 $aMaths for computer scientists$2bicssc 610 $aProbabilistische Sequenzmodellierung 610 $aStochastische Prozesse 610 $aNeuronale Netzwerke 610 $aParametrische Kurven 610 $aProbabilistic Sequence Modeling 610 $aStochastic Processes 610 $aNeural Networks 610 $aParametric Curves 615 7$aMaths for computer scientists 700 $aHug$b Ronny$4auth$01323289 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910584592003321 996 $aProbabilistic Parametric Curves for Sequence Modeling$93035450 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03659nam 2200421z- 450 001 9910137091403321 005 20210211 035 $a(CKB)3710000000824737 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/54048 035 $a(oapen)doab54048 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000824737 100 $a20202102d2015 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aMulti-omic Data Integration 210 $cFrontiers Media SA$d2015 215 $a1 online resource (135 p.) 225 1 $aFrontiers Research Topics 311 08$a2-88919-648-8 330 $aStable, predictive biomarkers and interpretable disease signatures are seen as a significant step towards personalized medicine. In this perspective, integration of multi-omic data coming from genomics, transcriptomics, glycomics, proteomics, metabolomics is a powerful strategy to reconstruct and analyse complex multi-dimensional interactions, enabling deeper mechanistic and medical insight. At the same time, there is a rising concern that much of such different omic data -although often publicly and freely available- lie in databases and repositories underutilised or not used at all. Issues coming from lack of standardisation and shared biological identities are also well-known. From these considerations, a novel, pressing request arises from the life sciences to design methodologies and approaches that allow for these data to be interpreted as a whole, i.e. as intertwined molecular signatures containing genes, proteins, mRNAs and miRNAs, able to capture inter-layers connections and complexity. Papers discuss data integration approaches and methods of several types and extents, their application in understanding the pathogenesis of specific diseases or in identifying candidate biomarkers to exploit the full benefit of multi-omic datasets and their intrinsic information content. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: ? Methods for the integration of layered data, including, but not limited to, genomics, transcriptomics, glycomics, proteomics, metabolomics; ? Application of multi-omic data integration approaches for diagnostic biomarker discovery in any field of the life sciences; ? Innovative approaches for the analysis and the visualization of multi-omic datasets; ? Methods and applications for systematic measurements from single/undivided samples (comprising genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic measurements, among others); ? Multi-scale approaches for integrated dynamic modelling and simulation; ? Implementation of applications, computational resources and repositories devoted to data integration including, but not limited to, data warehousing, database federation, semantic integration, service-oriented and/or wiki integration; ? Issues related to the definition and implementation of standards, shared identities and semantics, with particular focus on the integration problem. Research papers, reviews and short communications on all topics related to the above issues were welcomed. 606 $aGenetics (non-medical)$2bicssc 610 $acomputational 610 $aintegration (integrative) 610 $aLayered data 610 $amulti-omic 610 $anetworks 610 $aNGS 610 $asystems 615 7$aGenetics (non-medical) 700 $aChristine Nardini$4auth$01317918 702 $aJennifer Elizabeth Dent$4auth 702 $aPaolo Tieri$4auth 912 $a9910137091403321 996 $aMulti-omic Data Integration$93033093 997 $aUNINA LEADER 06188nam 22009133u 450 001 9910148606803321 005 20230120002042.0 010 $a9780723437956 010 $a0723437955 035 $a(CKB)3710000000250012 035 $a(EBL)1801857 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001473147 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11935677 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001473147 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11439574 035 $a(PQKB)11673474 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1801857 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000250012 100 $a20141006d2014|||| u|| | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aCrash Course Quick reference guide to medicine and surgery 210 $aLondon $cElsevier Health Sciences UK$d2014 215 $a1 online resource (686 p.) 225 1 $aCrash Course 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 08$a9780723435532 311 08$a0723435537 327 $aFront Cover; Crash Course: Quick Reference Guide to Medicine and Surgery ; Copyright ; Contents; Series editor foreword ; Author preface ; Acknowledgements ; Picture credits; Chapter 1; Chapter 2; Chapter 3; Chapter 4; Chapter 5; Chapter 6; Chapter 7; Chapter 8; Chapter 9; Chapter 10; Chapter 11; Chapter 13; Chapter 14; Chapter 15; Dedication ; Normal values ; Abbreviations ; Chapter 1: The acutely unwell patient; Patient has collapsed or is acutely unwell; Perform DR ABC DE; DR: danger and response; ABC; D: Disability; DEFG: Don''t ever forget glucose 327 $aCriteria to call the outreach team from the intensive care unitThe patient in respiratory or circulatory arrest; Basic life support: ABC approach; Advanced life support (figure 1.1); Chapter 2: Cardiology; Blood supply to the heart; Electrical conductivity; Important causes of sudden cardiac death in the young adult; Bradycardias; Symptoms and signs; Common causes; Uncommon causes; Classification and origin; Sinus bradycardia; Sick sinus syndrome (tachy-brady syndrome); AV node block: first-degree heart block; AV node block: second-degree heart block 327 $aAV node block: third-degree (complete block)Bundle branch block; Emergency management of bradycardias; Tachycardias; Symptoms and signs; Classification and origin; Supraventicular tachycardias; Ventricular tachycardia (VT); Sinus tachycardia; Atrial flutter; Atrial fibrillation; AV re-entry tachycardia, e.g. Wolff-Parkinson-White; Monomorphic ventricular tachycardias; Torsade de pointes (polymorphic ventricular tachycardias); Ventricular fibrillation; Emergency management of tachycardias; Investigations; Blood tests: serum cardiac enzymes; ECG; Exercise tolerance test; Echocardiogram 327 $aStress echocardiogramMyocardial perfusion scan; Cardiac catheterisation/coronary angiography; Cardiac CT (computed tomography); Cardiac MRI; Chapter 3: Respiratory system; Types of ventilation aids; Investigations; Bedside tests; Blood tests; Arterial blood gas; Lung function tests: spirometry; Lung volumes; Chest radiography; Bronchoscopy; Diagnostic pleural fluid aspiration; Ventilation perfusion (V/Q) scan; CT pulmonary angiography; Ultrasound; Lung biopsy; Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery; See also; Chapter 4: Gastroenterology; Sections of the gut; Abdominal pain; Investigations 327 $aBlood testsAbdominal radiography (AXR); Abdominal US; Abdominal CT; Abdominal MRI; Barium studies; Oesophageal pH monitoring; Manometry; Endoscopy; Preparation for an endoscopy; Complications of endoscopy; See also; Chapter 5: Hepatology; Liver function; Liver anatomy; Bilirubin metabolism; Acute and chronic liver injury; The gallbladder; Important terms; Liver tumours; Benign primary tumours; Malignant primary tumours; Secondary tumour: metastases; Investigations; Blood tests; Ultrasound; Transient elastography; CT; MRI; Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography 327 $aEndoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography 330 $aCrash Course - your effective everyday study companion PLUS the perfect antidote for exam stress!
