When considering recent developments to these economic links, it appears that oppositional forces are at work. On one hand, globalization and the rise of new economic powers may undermine the ties. Besides, Ireland?s and the UK?s European Union membership could also loosen their economic ties with the US. Conversely, the future Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership agreement may well strengthen trade and investment links between the US and Europe. Are the economic bonds between the US, the UK and Ireland waning, as some pundits purport? Or are those claims overstated? Could their economic relationship simply be going through a process of change? Although there may not be a single and straightforward answer to these questions, the authors seek to address these issues and provide insight into the changing dynamics of this historic economic relationship. 606 $aInternational economics 606 $aEconomic policy 606 $aEconomic history 606 $aTrade 606 $aBusiness 606 $aCommerce 606 $aInternational law 606 $aInternational Economics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W33000 606 $aEconomic Policy$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W34010 606 $aEconomic History$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W41000 606 $aEconomy-wide Country Studies$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W45000 606 $aTrade$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/527010 606 $aInternational Economic Law, Trade Law$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/R19050 607 $aGreat Britain$xForeign economic relations$zUnited States 607 $aIreland$xForeign economic relations$zUnited States 607 $aUnited States$xForeign economic relations$zGreat Britain 607 $aUnited States$xForeign economic relations$zIreland 607 $aGreat Britain$2fast 607 $aIreland$2fast 607 $aUnited States$2fast 615 0$aInternational economics. 615 0$aEconomic policy. 615 0$aEconomic history. 615 0$aTrade. 615 0$aBusiness. 615 0$aCommerce. 615 0$aInternational law. 615 14$aInternational Economics. 615 24$aEconomic Policy. 615 24$aEconomic History. 615 24$aEconomy-wide Country Studies. 615 24$aTrade. 615 24$aInternational Economic Law, Trade Law. 676 $a337 702 $aGroutel$b Anne$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPauwels$b Marie-Christine$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPeyronel$b Valérie$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910148569103321 996 $aRevisiting the UK and Ireland?s Transatlantic Economic Relationship with the United States in the 21st Century$92240054 997 $aUNINA
