With a critical eye, Andrew Hughes summarizes the work that has been done on this liturgical book, of which two complete copies and a number of fragments are extant. How these copies have been described - and more importantly how these accounts differ - is a central question of this volume.Based on the discrepancies and errors in the existing catalogues of medieval liturgical books, many of which repeat erroneous information for generations, the authors illustrate the defects, problems, and opportunities encountered when technologies of the fifteenth and the twenty-first centuries converge. Not only questioning existing bibliographical practices, Cataloguing Discrepancies suggests practical means for improvements to the future description of early printed books of this kind. 606 $aBreviaries$vBibliography$vCatalogs 606 $aBreviaries$xBibliography$xCatalogs 606 $aCataloging of Catholic literature 606 $aHISTORY / Medieval$2bisacsh 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aBreviaries 615 0$aBreviaries$xBibliography$xCatalogs. 615 0$aCataloging of Catholic literature. 615 7$aHISTORY / Medieval. 676 $a025.3/2 700 $aHughes$b Andrew$f1937-2013,$0601455 701 $aRobbins$b Heather$0991612 701 $aSalisbury$b Matthew Cheung$0991613 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910457222203321 996 $aCataloguing discrepancies$92269431 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03034nam 2200613 450 001 9910146577003321 005 20210210083146.0 010 $a1-280-61541-9 010 $a9786610615414 010 $a3-540-33314-2 024 7 $a10.1007/b11730286 035 $a(CKB)1000000000282439 035 $a(EBL)3036459 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000253798 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11217156 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000253798 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10206081 035 $a(PQKB)11028719 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-540-33314-2 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3036459 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6350780 035 $a(PPN)123133300 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000282439 100 $a20210210d2006 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aSupersymmetric mechanics - vol. 1 $esupersymmetry, noncommutativity and matrix models /$fedited by Stefano Bellucci 205 $a1st ed. 2006. 210 1$aBerlin, Germany ;$aNew York, United States :$cSpringer,$d[2006] 210 4$d©2006 215 $a1 online resource (239 p.) 225 1 $aLecture Notes in Physics,$x0075-8450 ;$v698 300 $a"This is the first volume in a series of books on the general theme of Supersymmetric Mechanics, which are based on lectures and discussions held in 2005 and 2006 at the INFN-Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati"--Preface. 311 $a3-540-33313-4 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and indexes. 327 $aA Journey Through Garden Algebras -- Supersymmetric Mechanics in Superspace -- Noncommutative Mechanics, Landau Levels, Twistors, and Yang?Mills Amplitudes -- Elements of (Super-)Hamiltonian Formalism -- Matrix Models. 330 $aThis is the first volume in a series of books on the general theme of Supersymmetric Mechanics; the series is based on lectures and discussions held in 2005 and 2006 at the INFN-Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati. The selected topics include supersymmetry and supergravity, the attractor mechanism, black holes, noncommutative mechanics, super-Hamiltonian formalism and matrix models. All lectures are intended for beginners at the graduate level and nonspecialists from related fields of research and a substantial effort was made to incorporate in the extensive write-ups the results of the animated discussion sessions which followed the individual lectures.
