Primary isolated ASCs are a heterogeneous preparation consisting of several subpopulations of stromal/stem and precursor cells. Donor-specific differences in ASC isolations and the lack of culture standardization hinder the comparison of results from different studies. Nevertheless, ASCs are already being used in different in vivo models and clinical trials to investigate their ability to improve tissue and organ regeneration. Many questions concerning their counterparts and biology in situ, their differentiation potential in vitro and in vivo, and the mechanisms of regeneration (paracrine effects, including regeneration-promoting factors and extracellular vesicles, differentiation, and immunomodulation) are not completely understood or remain unanswered. This Special Issue covers research articles investigating various adipose tissues as a source for ASC isolation, specific cultures methods to enhance proliferation or viability, and the differentiation capacity. Furthermore, other studies highlight aspects of various diseases, the immunosuppressive potential of ASCs and their derivates, or the in vivo tracking of transplanted ASCs. This edition is complemented by a review that summarizes the current knowledge of spheroid culture system methods and applications for mesenchymal stem cells. 606 $aMedicine and Nursing$2bicssc 610 $a3D cell culture 610 $aadipocytes 610 $aadipogenesis 610 $aadiponectin 610 $aadipose derived mesenchymal cells 610 $aadipose derived stem cells 610 $aadipose tissue 610 $aadipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (ASCs) 610 $aadipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells 610 $aadipose-derived stem cells 610 $aadipose-derived stromal cells 610 $aadipose-derived stromal/stem cells 610 $aageing 610 $aangiogenesis 610 $aankylosing spondylitis 610 $aAtaxia telangiectasia 610 $aAtm 610 $abio imaging 610 $abioluminescence 610 $abiomaterials 610 $abreast cancer 610 $acell differentiation 610 $acharacterization 610 $achondrogenesis 610 $acollagen I 610 $acolony forming unit-fibroblast 610 $aconditioned medium 610 $acytokines 610 $acytomegalovirus 610 $adifferentiation 610 $adiscoidin domain-containing receptor 610 $aepigenetic memory 610 $aequine metabolic syndrome 610 $aextracellular vesicles 610 $afat 610 $afetal bovine serum 610 $aHistogel 610 $ahuman adipose-derived stem cells 610 $ahuman platelet lysate 610 $aINF-? 610 $aintegrins 610 $aJAK/STAT pathway 610 $alipomas 610 $alipopolysaccharide 610 $aMAPK pathway 610 $amesenchymal stem cell 610 $amesenchymal stem cells 610 $amesenchymal stromal cell 610 $amesenchymal stromal cells 610 $amesenchymal stromal/stem cells 610 $ametabolic monitoring 610 $ametformin 610 $amigration 610 $an/a 610 $aosteogenesis 610 $aperineural invasion 610 $aperirenal 610 $aphenotype 610 $aprimary cilium 610 $aprolonged culture 610 $aprotein interactions 610 $aqRT-PCR 610 $aregenerative medicine 610 $asecretion 610 $asecretory potential 610 $asignaling pathway 610 $asonic hedgehog signaling 610 $aspheroid culture 610 $astem cell proliferation 610 $astem cells 610 $astimulation 610 $asubcutaneous fat 610 $asystemic lupus erythematosus 610 $asystemic sclerosis 610 $aT-cells 610 $atissue of origin 610 $aTLR 610 $atracking 610 $atumor microenvironment 610 $avalproic acid 610 $avolatile organic compounds 615 7$aMedicine and Nursing 700 $aBaer$b Patrick C$4edt$01293413 702 $aBaer$b Patrick C$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557113303321 996 $aAdipose-Derived Stromal$93022595 997 $aUNINA
