It is a faster, cheaper, smarter way to do drug discovery, as shown by the number of pharmaceutical companies that have embraced this approach and the biotechnology companies who use fragments as their sole source of drug discovery. Fragment-Based Drug Discovery: A Practical Approach is a guide to the techniques and practice of using fragments in drug screening. The beginnings of this dictionary and learner's guide were in the 1970s when Gudjal people began working with linguists to record their language. The first dictionary of Gudjal, by William Santo and Cassy Nancarrow, was published in 2006; and so, a language that had been sleeping started to awaken. In "Yaru!", the dictionary has been expanded and the first-ever Gudjal grammar is included, as well as four songs and a Welcome to Country. The book has been compiled by Gudjal elder William Santo and linguists Alex Anderson, Cassy Nancarrow and Myfany Turpin. It includes accompanying audio read by Keesha Gordon and Shakira Kelly. The audio is accessed through QR codes in the book and can be downloaded from the associated website. "Yaru!" will be essential to the Gudjal community and schools in the Charters Towers region to build a new generation of language speakers. It will also be of value to people interested in Australia's first peoples, their languages and language revival. 606 $aAustralian languages 606 $aAustralian languages$vDictionaries$xEnglish 606 $aAboriginal Australians$zAustralia$zQueensland 606 $aLangues australiennes 606 $aAustraliens (Aborige?nes)$zAustralie$zQueensland 606 $aGudjal language E60$2aiatsisl 606 $aa Language - Vocabulary - Word lists$2aiatsiss 606 $aLanguage - Vocabulary$2aiatsiss 606 $aLanguage - Linguistics - Vocabulary and grammar$2aiatsiss 606 $aAboriginal Australians$2fast 606 $aAustralian languages$2fast 606 $aLanguage & Linguistics$2thema 607 $aMuralag / Prince of Wales Island (Qld TSI SC54-11) 607 $aQueensland$2fast 608 $adictionaries.$2aat 608 $aDictionaries$2fast 608 $aDictionaries.$2lcgft 608 $aDictionnaires.$2rvmgf 610 $aAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander content 610 $aAustralian 615 0$aAustralian languages. 615 0$aAustralian languages$xEnglish. 615 0$aAboriginal Australians 615 6$aLangues australiennes. 615 6$aAustraliens (Aborige?nes) 615 7$aGudjal language E60. 615 7$aa Language - Vocabulary - Word lists. 615 7$aLanguage - Vocabulary. 615 7$aLanguage - Linguistics - Vocabulary and grammar. 615 7$aAboriginal Australians 615 7$aAustralian languages 615 7$aLanguage & Linguistics. 676 $a499.15 700 $aAnderson$b Alex$01779766 701 $aSanto$b William$01779767 701 $aTurpin$b Myfany$01779768 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910915790003321 996 $aYaru!
