The massive information available through continuous improvements in the various modeling approaches to Medical Data Analysis is re?ected in the - sults, dealing with quite di?erent topics, presented during the Third Edition of the Symposium (ISMDA 2002). They have been grouped into the following four categories: (1) Data Mining and Decision Support Systems; (2) Medical Informatics and Modeling; (3) Time-Series Analysis; and (4) Medical Imaging. In setting up the symposium program we tried to avoid, even with the sho- age of time, parallel sessions. Thus, all participants had the chance to catch all the oral presentations, and we hope that this third proceedings volume will extend this chance also to non-participants. As for the previous volumes, it c- tains extensive up-to-date chapters on Medical Data Analysis, packed with ideas, suggestions, and solutions to many problems typical of this ?eld. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v2526 606 $aEpidemiology 606 $aDatabase management 606 $aHealth informatics 606 $aMathematical statistics 606 $aInformation storage and retrieval 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aEpidemiology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H63000 606 $aDatabase Management$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18024 606 $aHealth Informatics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H28009 606 $aProbability and Statistics in Computer Science$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I17036 606 $aInformation Storage and Retrieval$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18032 606 $aArtificial Intelligence$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000 615 0$aEpidemiology. 615 0$aDatabase management. 615 0$aHealth informatics. 615 0$aMathematical statistics. 615 0$aInformation storage and retrieval. 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 14$aEpidemiology. 615 24$aDatabase Management. 615 24$aHealth Informatics. 615 24$aProbability and Statistics in Computer Science. 615 24$aInformation Storage and Retrieval. 615 24$aArtificial Intelligence. 676 $a610/.7/27 702 $aColosimo$b Alfredo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aGiuliani$b Alessandro$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSirabella$b Paolo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 12$aInternational Symposium on Medical Data Analysis 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910143885303321 996 $aMedical Data Analysis$92065524 997 $aUNINA
