One is how to react to processes of Europeanization and globalization, which require more cross-border cooperation and different ways of telling stories for visitors. This book investigates how museums exhibit Europe. Based on research in nearly 100 museums across the Continent and interviews with cultural policy makers and museum curators, it studies the growing transnational activities of state institutions, societal organizations, and people in the museum field such as attempts to Europeanize collection p 410 0$aMuseums and collections ;$vVolume 6. 606 $aMuseum cooperation$zEurope 606 $aMuseums and community$zEurope 606 $aCulture and globalization$zEurope 606 $aMuseum exhibits$zEurope 606 $aMuseum techniques$zEurope 606 $amuseum$9eng$2eurovoc 606 $acultural event$9eng$2eurovoc 606 $acultural policy$9eng$2eurovoc 607 $aEurope$xCultural policy 615 0$aMuseum cooperation 615 0$aMuseums and community 615 0$aCulture and globalization 615 0$aMuseum exhibits 615 0$aMuseum techniques 615 7$amuseum 615 7$acultural event 615 7$acultural policy 676 $a069/.5094 686 $a32.08$2EP-CLASS 700 $aKaiser$b Wolfram$0881689 702 $aKrankenhagen$b Stefan 702 $aPoehls$b Kerstin 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910827260703321 996 $aExhibiting Europe in museums$94126864 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04290nam 2200685 a 450 001 9910141292603321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a978048515721$b(ebook) 010 $a9789048515738$b(ebook) 010 $a9781280118388$b(ebook) 010 $z9786613522672$b(paperback) 010 $z9789089644039$b(paperback) 024 8 $a10.26530/OAPEN_430544 035 $a(CKB)2670000000168317 035 $a(EBL)870665 035 $a(OCoLC)782878278 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000656121 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12262275 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000656121 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10631524 035 $a(PQKB)10778063 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC870665 035 $a(OCoLCO)782878278 035 $a(ScCtBLL)685eec26-89eb-49ea-88b5-9c35d6bb47d2 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000168317 100 $a20120321d2011 uy 0 101 0 $adut 135 $aurmn#nnn||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aGeestelijke opklimmingen $eeen gids voor de geestelijke weg uit de vroege Moderne Devotie /$fGerard Zerbolt van Zutphen ; vertaald, ingeleid en toegelicht door R.Th.M. van Dijk O.Carm 210 $aAmsterdam $cAmsterdam University Press$d2011 215 $a1 online resource (344 pages) $cillustrations 225 0 $aOpen Access e-Books 225 0 $aKnowledge Unlatched 225 1 $aBibliotheca Dissidentium Neerlandicorum 300 $a"Coornhert Stichting" 311 08$aPrint version: 9789089644039 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aInhoudsopgave -- Bibliotheca Dissidentium Neerlandicorum een redactionele toelichting -- Ter inleiding -- DEEL 1. This is what the 'renewed innocence' movement, which arose around 1375 in Deventer, was inspired by Geert Grote and Florens Radewijns. They developed a reform program that focused on the spiritual transformation of man. Gerard Zerbolt played a prominent role as a brother of the common life. He led an intensive book production, worked for ecclesiastical recognition of the brotherhood and mastered her charisma. He wrote two leading manuals for the spiritual way. More than Grote and Radewijns, Gerard Zerbolt laid the foundation for an own spirituality of the Modern Devotion. The spiritualibus ascensionibus had not yet been translated into modern Dutch. The Middle Dutch translation already bore the title Spiritual Ascensions. This book describes the way of man who wants to return from the resemblance with his Creator to the original parable. Against the vices that can infuse people, Gerard Zerbolt places the virtues as counter forces. His writings contain all the elements to help us as people of our time to achieve a new image of humanity and a new vision of society. 410 0$aBibliotheca Dissidentium Neerlandicorum. 606 $aDevotion 606 $aSpiritual life 606 $aSpirituality 608 $aAnthologies$2lcgft 615 0$aDevotion. 615 0$aSpiritual life. 615 0$aSpirituality. 676 $a248.4 700 $aZutphen$b Gerard Zerbolt van$01758263 701 $aO.Carm$b R.
