Presentations are rigorously peer reviewed and are published in an archival proceedings volume. PSB 2014 will be held from January 3 ? 7, 2014 in Kohala Coast, Hawaii. Tutorials and workshops will be offered prior to the start of the conference. PSB 2014 will bring together top researchers from the US, the Asian Pacific nations, and around the world to exchange research results and address open issues in all aspects of computational biology. It is a forum for the presentation of work in databases, algorithms, interfaces, visualization, modeling, and other computational methods, as applied to biological problems, with emphasis on applications in data-rich areas of molecular biology. The PSB has been designed to be responsive to the need for critical mass in sub-disciplines within biocomputing. For that reason, it is the only meeting whose sessions are defined dynamically each year in response to specific proposals. PSB sessions are organized by leaders of research in biocomputing's "hot topics." In this way, the meeting provides an early forum for serious examination of emerging methods and approaches in this rapidly changing field. 606 $aBiology$xMathematical models$vCongresses 606 $aBiology$xComputer simulation$vCongresses 606 $aMolecular biology$xMathematical models$vCongresses 606 $aMolecular biology$xComputer simulation$vCongresses 610 $aProtein Interactions 610 $aMetabolomics 610 $aBiocomputing 610 $aComputational Genetics 610 $aOntology 610 $aComputational Proteomics 610 $aBioinformatics 615 0$aBiology$xMathematical models 615 0$aBiology$xComputer simulation 615 0$aMolecular biology$xMathematical models 615 0$aMolecular biology$xComputer simulation 676 $a570.113 700 $aRuss B Altman$4auth$01275366 702 $aAltman$b Russ B. 712 02$aGale Group 801 0$bMiFhGG 801 1$bMiFhGG 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910140405603321 996 $aPacific Symposium on Biocomputing 2014, Kohala Coast, Hawaii, USA, 3-7 January 2014$93412890 997 $aUNINA
