A MODEL OF THE GREAT LAGOON FOOD WEB /$rWitek, Zbigniew / Wolnomiejski, Norbert --$tReferences --$tIndex 330 $aThe Great Lagoon is a central part of the Szczecin Lagoon, a major component in the Odra River estuary system. It is also an important European natural heritage site and one of the largest resting places for migratory birds in the Baltic Sea area. The first part of Wolnomiejski's and Witek's book gives a thorough overview of the most up-to-date knowledge of this region, including the assessment of its biological production. Based on these findings authors develop a food web model of the Polish part of the Szczecin Lagoon, identifying a total of 45 trophic-functional components. The model describes a variety of features ranging from the magnitude of consumption, to the amount of unassimilated food and export of individual system components, and serves as an invaluable source, helping researchers to estimate various ecological indicators of The Great Lagoon's ecosystem. 606 $aCoastal ecology$zSzczecin Lagoon (Poland and Germany) 606 $aMarine ecology$zSzczecin Lagoon (Poland and Germany) 607 $aBaltic Coast$xEnvironmental conditions 607 $aSzczecin Lagoon (Poland and Germany)$xEnvironmental conditions 615 0$aCoastal ecology 615 0$aMarine ecology 676 $a577.51 700 $aWolnomiejski$b Norbert$0802191 702 $aWitek$b Zbigniew 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910140171803321 996 $aThe Szczecin Lagoon edcosystem$92122908 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01797nam 2200385 n 450 001 996383143803316 005 20221108030225.0 035 $a(CKB)1000000000595352 035 $a(EEBO)2240953361 035 $a(UnM)99869987 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000595352 100 $a19940815d1649 uy | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||a|bb| 200 10$aBy his Excellency the Lord Generall.
