Families were largely monagomous, and contrary to what travellers had assumed, were composed of two or three children, hardly enough to ensure a natural growth for the city.Patrimonial hierarchy and structures suggest the existence of an inegalitarian society. This society was dominated by a group of important merchants intimately associated by marriage ties and also by personal interest to the principal shaykh families as well as the military milieu which, despite their having been reined in by the central political authority, still managed to wield economic and social importance. The weight of family heritage in the personal destiny of individuals was considerable at all levels in this society, although individual social promotion was not a completely unknown phenomenon. Cohesional factors did however exist in all strata of society, albeit strictly among males, such as participation in the pilgrimage and the role of shaykhs as transmitters of cultural and religious patrimony. 410 0$aPublications de l'I.F.E.A.D. ;$v148. 606 $aSociology & Social History$2HILCC 606 $aSocial Sciences$2HILCC 606 $aSocial Conditions$2HILCC 607 $aDamascus (Syria)$xSocial conditions 607 $aDamascus (Syria)$xEconomic conditions 610 $amobilité sociale 610 $asociété 610 $aSyrie 610 $aéconomie 610 $aDamas 615 7$aSociology & Social History 615 7$aSocial Sciences 615 7$aSocial Conditions 700 $aEstablet$b Colette$0642292 702 $aPascual$b Jean-Paul 702 $aRaymond$b André 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 912 $a9910140149903321 996 $aFamilles et fortunes à Damas$92137330 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02085nam 2200445z- 450 001 9910346763603321 005 20210211 010 $a1000066972 035 $a(CKB)4920000000100886 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/46111 035 $a(oapen)doab46111 035 $a(EXLCZ)994920000000100886 100 $a20202102d2017 |y 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aElastomerreibung und Kraftu?bertragung beim Abscheren von aktiv betriebenen Vakuumgreifern auf rauen Oberfla?chen 210 $cKIT Scientific Publishing$d2017 215 $a1 online resource (XIX, 248 p. p.) 225 1 $aKarlsruher Reihe Technologie und Management im Baubetrieb / Institut für Technologie und Management im Baubetrieb, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) 311 08$a3-7315-0643-2 330 $aThe present work includes the analysis of the load transmission and the modeling of the friction coefficient ? on rough surfaces during the shearing process of actively-driven vacuum grippers. The two main components of elastomeric friction (hysteresis and adhesion) are modeled. In addition, the positive locking is also examined in detail. The presented friction model allows to calculate the friction coefficient and therefore to optimize the design of restraint systems for vacuum grippers. 606 $aHistory of engineering and technology$2bicssc 610 $aAdha?sion 610 $aadhesion 610 $aElastomerreibung 610 $aFormschluss 610 $aHysterese 610 $ahysteresis 610 $apositive locking 610 $avacuum gripper 610 $aVakuumgreiferrubber friction 615 7$aHistory of engineering and technology 700 $aKern$b Patrick$4auth$01278885 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910346763603321 996 $aElastomerreibung und Kraftübertragung beim Abscheren von aktiv betriebenen Vakuumgreifern auf rauen Oberflächen$93014047 997 $aUNINA
