The village has gone from a quasi-autonomous rural society to a space with multiple signs of urbanization and growth. The end of the Ottoman occupation and the start of the Mandate transformed the structure of authority, family relations and economic production. International labour migration (mainly in West Africa) has contributed to spatial opening up and the development of new modes of consumption. During the civil war, the village then oscillates between misery, gentrification and internal fratricidal fights. In less than a century, Zrariyé has been the scene of a politico-economic escalation in which the contradictions of the social space between rurality and capitalist type exploitation have become more acute. 410 0$aCahiers du CERMOC ;$v4. 606 $aRegions & Countries - Asia & the Middle East$2HILCC 606 $aHistory & Archaeology$2HILCC 606 $aMiddle East$2HILCC 607 $aLebanon$xHistory 610 $aZrariyé 610 $aSud Liban 610 $achiisme 615 7$aRegions & Countries - Asia & the Middle East 615 7$aHistory & Archaeology 615 7$aMiddle East 676 $a956.9204/4 700 $aTaraf-Najib$b Souha$0944830 701 $aKiwan$b Fadia$01233592 701 $aBeydoun$b Ahmad$0261937 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 912 $a9910140149003321 996 $aZrariye, village chiite du Liban-sud de 1900 à nos jours$92865176 997 $aUNINA
