It will be of particular use for those GI internists/residents who have an interest specifically in hepatology. It does not aim to be a specialist textbook, but a shorter, 250pp guide that provides key clinical information on each area of hepatology in an accessible form. These stories have mostly been transmitted in Aramaic, not Hebrew, as has the influential apocalypse of Daniel 7. This Aramaic corpus shows clear signs of multiple authorship. Which different textual layers can we tease apart, and what do they tell us about the changing function of the Danielic material during the Second Temple Period? This monograph compares the Masoretic Text of Daniel to ancient manuscripts and translations preserving textual variants. By highlighting tensions in the reconstructed archetype underlying all these texts, it then probes the tales? prehistory even further, showing how Daniel underwent many transformations to yield the book we know today. 410 0$aStudia Semitica Neerlandica ;$v73. 517 3 $aA Textual Reconstruction of Chapters 1?7 606 $aAfroasiatic languages 606 $aChristians$xStudy and teaching 606 $aJews$xStudy and teaching 606 $aLanguage and languages 606 $aIslam$xStudy and teaching 607 $aMiddle East$xCivilization$yTo 622 615 0$aAfroasiatic languages. 615 0$aChristians$xStudy and teaching. 615 0$aJews$xStudy and teaching. 615 0$aLanguage and languages. 615 0$aIslam$xStudy and teaching. 676 $a220.096 700 $aSuchard$b Benjamin D.$01494661 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910776180903321 996 $aAramaic Daniel$93718325 997 $aUNINA
