Increasing evidence suggests that 5-HT pathways, reuptake site/transporter complex and 5-HT receptors represent a strategic distribution for learning and memory. A key question still remaining is whether 5-HT markers (e.g., receptors) are directly or indirectly contributing to the physiological and pharmacological basis of memory and its pathogenesis or, rather, if they represent protective or adaptable mechanisms. Certainly, Alzheimer´s disease (AD) is a very complex neuropsychiatric disorder, where memory becomes progressively dysfunctional resulting in amnesia and dementia, whereas forgetting is a physiological phenomenon occurring all the time as adaptive mechanism. As dysfunctional memory occurs in several neuropsychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, stroke, post-traumatic stress disorder. Hence, the aim of this call is collect recent and important findings related to information about serotonin and memory or 5-HT and learning or 5-HT and memory or serotonin and learning. 410 0$aFrontiers research topics. 606 $aSerotonin 606 $aSerotonin$xReceptors 606 $aMemory 606 $aMemory disorders 606 $aNeuropharmacology 606 $aNeurosciences 610 $aLearning 610 $a5-Hydroxytryptamine 610 $aforgetting 610 $aMemory 610 $adysfunctional memory 610 $aneuropsychiatric disorders 610 $aAmnesia 610 $aneural markers 610 $a5-HT receptors 610 $a5-HT markers 615 0$aSerotonin. 615 0$aSerotonin$xReceptors. 615 0$aMemory. 615 0$aMemory disorders. 615 0$aNeuropharmacology. 615 0$aNeurosciences. 676 $a612.8042 700 $aAlfredo Meneses$4auth$01364352 702 $aMeneses$b Alfredo 702 $aGasparri$b Antonella 801 0$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910136797303321 996 $aSerotonin and memory$93385552 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01494nim 2200433Ka 450 001 9910150509703321 005 20240912110353.0 010 $a0-06-083502-8 035 $a(CKB)3710000000944016 035 $a(BIP)032055075 035 $a(ODN)ODN0000076627 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000944016 100 $a20130920d2005 ay 1 101 0 $aeng 135 $auruna---||||| 181 $cspw$2rdacontent 182 $cs$2rdamedia 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 14$aThe get rich quick club /$fDan Gutman 205 $aUnabridged. 210 $cHarperCollins 215 $a1 online resource (2 audio files) $cdigital 311 08$a0-06-053440-0 330 $aWe, the members of the Get Rich Quick Club, in order to form a more perfect summer, vow we will figure out a way to make a million dollars by September.
