Context construction, as construed by Nyan, corresponds to the preliminary stage of decision-making, when the changed environment needs to be categorised. What discourse markers contribute to context construction is an upgraded level of automation, whereby the degree of variation assumed to be present in the interlocutor?s processing context can be brought within a manageable range. How discourse markers influence interpretation is construed in terms of Damasio?s (2010) convergence-and-divergence zone framework. 410 0$aStudies in pragmatics ;$vVolume 15. 606 $aContext (Linguistics) 606 $aDiscourse markers 606 $aPragmatics 606 $aSpeech acts (Linguistics) 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aContext (Linguistics) 615 0$aDiscourse markers. 615 0$aPragmatics. 615 0$aSpeech acts (Linguistics) 676 $a401/.41 700 $aNyan$b T$g(Thanh),$f1950-$0988031 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910136522803321 996 $aContext construction as mediated by discourse markers$92259232 997 $aUNINA
