Since the beginning of this century, this interaction has generated interest in understanding how biological rhythms behave in organisms living in their natural habitat. This approach requires field studies of rest/activity rhythms in order to obtain detailed hour/hour and day/day information about the possible effects of the modulation of certain environmental variables, such as photoperiod, temperature and the lunar sky, which may synchronize and/or mask behavioral activity. This book looks at the behavioral variations in non-human primates and Homo sapiens to find out how the circadian rhythm modulates behavior and in what way social interaction influences the rhythms of circadian activity. This book also analyzes the interaction between the circadian and immune systems, and explores the signal transduction pathways which could participate in this dialogue. The precise knowledge of this interaction might be extremely useful for the understanding of diseases development such as cancer. Other chapters in this book assess the quality of sleep in children and how it affects the rhythmical functions of the body. The comprehensive coverage of this topic is presented together with a general perspective from a child, caregiver and healthcare provider. 410 0$aPublic Health in the 21st Century 606 $aBiological rhythms 606 $aCircadian rhythms 615 0$aBiological rhythms. 615 0$aCircadian rhythms. 676 $a612/.022 701 $aSalvenmoser$b Oktav$01868630 701 $aMeklau$b Brigitta$01868631 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910964054403321 996 $aBiological clocks$94476603 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01183oas 22004092 450 001 9911058022203321 005 20251105213014.0 011 $a2816-4180 035 $a(OCoLC)1303267901 035 $a(CONSER)cn2022019415 035 $a(CKB)31367737400041 035 $a(EXLCZ)9931367737400041 100 $a20220314a20229999 uy b 101 0 $afre 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent/fre 182 $cc$2rdamedia/fre 183 $acr$2rdacarrier/fre 200 00$aCulture trad Que?bec 210 1$a[Que?bec] :$cConseil que?be?cois du patrimoine vivant,$d[2022]- 311 08$a2816-4172 517 2 $aCulture traditionnelle Que?bec 606 $aFolklore$zQue?bec (Province)$vPeriodicals 606 $aFolklore$zQue?bec (Province)$vPe?riodiques 608 $aPe?riodiques nume?riques.$2rvmgf 615 0$aFolklore 615 6$aFolklore 686 $acollissn8$2lacc 686 $acci1icc$2lacc 712 02$aConseil que?be?cois du patrimoine vivant, 801 0$bNLC 801 1$bNLC 801 2$bB2Q 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9911058022203321 996 $aCulture trad Que?bec$94532752 997 $aUNINA
