The excellent preservation conditions for organic material, and the fact that some of the stone artefacts were not previously known from the Saqqaq Culture, were the main reasons for the excavation. More than 70,000 bone fragments, 20,000 flakes and 1,000 artefacts were recovered. 410 0$aMeddelelser om Grønland.$pMan & society ;$v31, 331. 606 $aSaqqaq culture$xHistory 606 $aAntiquities 607 $aSisimiut (Greenland)$xAntiquities 615 0$aSaqqaq culture$xHistory. 615 0$aAntiquities. 700 $aGotfredsen$b Anne Birgitte$0964895 702 $aMøbjerg$b Tinna 702 $aPetersen$b Kaj Strand 702 $aHoch$b Ella 801 2$bUkMaJRU 912 $a9910130834803321 996 $aNipisat - a Saqqaq culture site in Sisimiut, central West Greenland$92189152 997 $aUNINA
