Considerable attention has recently been devoted to the Romance clitics, among which the Portuguese occupy a role of undisputed prominence on account of their objectively peculiar nature. This study, based on the observation of the written literary language, analyses the phenomenon through a synchronic, diachronic and comparative approach to European and Brazilian Portuguese. What emerges is the proposal of a typological interpretation of the clitic pronouns, and the Portuguese clitic pronoun system, as a multiform phenomenon that cannot be reduced to a single model. 410 0$aStudi e saggi (Florence, Italy) 517 $aLa grammatica dei clitici portoghesi 606 $aPortuguese language$xClitics 610 $aLinguistica 610 $aFilologia romanza 610 $aLingua portoghese 610 $aPronomi clitici 615 0$aPortuguese language$xClitics. 700 $aGori$b Barbara$f1973-$0906531 801 0$bItFiC 801 1$bItFiC 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910130602903321 996 $aLa grammatica dei clitici portoghesi$92027443 997 $aUNINA 999 $aThis Record contains information from the Harvard Library Bibliographic Dataset, which is provided by the Harvard Library under its Bibliographic Dataset Use Terms and includes data made available by, among others the Library of Congress
