The stress tests examined the resilience of the Moroccan banking system to solvency, liquidity, and contagion risks. The global liquidity stress tests revealed that most banks in the system would be exposed to liquidity risks in the event of large deposit withdrawals, under a more severe scenario than the Basel III Liquidity Coverage Ratio metrics, or depletion of unsecured wholesale funding. Banks were found to be less vulnerable to direct contagion risk through bilateral exposure. The contagion risk analysis revealed that the risks stemming from domestic interbank exposures are very limited. 410 0$aIMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;$vNo. 2016/329 606 $aInternational Monetary Fund 606 $aInternational Monetary Fund$zMorocco 606 $aBanks and banking$zMorocco 606 $aInsurance$zMorocco 606 $aBanks and Banking$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aIndustries: Financial Services$2imf 606 $aBanks$2imf 606 $aDepository Institutions$2imf 606 $aMicro Finance Institutions$2imf 606 $aMortgages$2imf 606 $aFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and Regulation$2imf 606 $aFinancing Policy$2imf 606 $aFinancial Risk and Risk Management$2imf 606 $aCapital and Ownership Structure$2imf 606 $aValue of Firms$2imf 606 $aGoodwill$2imf 606 $aPension Funds$2imf 606 $aNon-bank Financial Institutions$2imf 606 $aFinancial Instruments$2imf 606 $aInstitutional Investors$2imf 606 $aBanking$2imf 606 $aFinance$2imf 606 $aFinancial services law & regulation$2imf 606 $aStress testing$2imf 606 $aCommercial banks$2imf 606 $aCredit risk$2imf 606 $aInsurance companies$2imf 606 $aFinancial sector policy and analysis$2imf 606 $aFinancial institutions$2imf 606 $aFinancial regulation and supervision$2imf 606 $aNonperforming loans$2imf 606 $aBanks and banking$2imf 606 $aFinancial risk management$2imf 606 $aLoans$2imf 607 $aMorocco$2imf 615 0$aInternational Monetary Fund. 615 0$aInternational Monetary Fund 615 0$aBanks and banking 615 0$aInsurance 615 7$aBanks and Banking 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aIndustries: Financial Services 615 7$aBanks 615 7$aDepository Institutions 615 7$aMicro Finance Institutions 615 7$aMortgages 615 7$aFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and Regulation 615 7$aFinancing Policy 615 7$aFinancial Risk and Risk Management 615 7$aCapital and Ownership Structure 615 7$aValue of Firms 615 7$aGoodwill 615 7$aPension Funds 615 7$aNon-bank Financial Institutions 615 7$aFinancial Instruments 615 7$aInstitutional Investors 615 7$aBanking 615 7$aFinance 615 7$aFinancial services law & regulation 615 7$aStress testing 615 7$aCommercial banks 615 7$aCredit risk 615 7$aInsurance companies 615 7$aFinancial sector policy and analysis 615 7$aFinancial institutions 615 7$aFinancial regulation and supervision 615 7$aNonperforming loans 615 7$aBanks and banking 615 7$aFinancial risk management 615 7$aLoans 676 $a332.152 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910151744903321 996 $aMorocco$91237363 997 $aUNINA
