The failure of this attempt was due to the nature of the "Stand" itself which, as something organically grown, is not accessible to institutionalisation. In reality, the corporation was just a means of enabling conservative thinking, in a much wider sense, to influence politics, a hangover of traditional forms of rule. 410 0$aVero?ffentlichungen der Kommission fu?r neuere Geschichte O?sterreichs ;$vBand 113. 606 $aFascism$zAustria$xHistory 606 $aConservatism$zAustria$xHistory 607 $aAustria$xHistory$y20th century 607 $aAustria$xPolitics and government$y1918-1938 607 $aAustria$xSocial conditions$y20th century 608 $bElectronic books. 615 0$aFascism$xHistory. 615 0$aConservatism$xHistory. 676 $a320.0943609043 700 $aKustatscher$b Erika$0964896 801 0$bAuAdUSA 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910136543103321 996 $a?Berufsstand? oder ?Stand?$92189154 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01216nam 22003613 450 001 9910512181803321 005 20211213080214.0 010 $a9783030884000$b(electronic bk.) 010 $z9783030883997 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6824264 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6824264 035 $a(CKB)20094234300041 035 $a(EXLCZ)9920094234300041 100 $a20211213d2022 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aTeacher Awareness As Professional Development $eAssistant Language Teachers in a Cross-Cultural Context 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing AG,$d2022. 210 4$d©2022. 215 $a1 online resource (154 pages) 311 08$aPrint version: Sakamoto, Nami Teacher Awareness As Professional Development Cham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2022 9783030883997 608 $aElectronic books. 676 $a418.0071052 700 $aSakamoto$b Nami$01069109 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 912 $a9910512181803321 996 $aTeacher Awareness As Professional Development$92554646 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04559nam 22006375 450 001 9910698648203321 005 20230608213114.0 010 $a3-031-24643-8 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-24643-2 035 $a(CKB)5700000000357263 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-24643-2 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC7238823 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL7238823 035 $a(OCoLC)1385453807 035 $a(EXLCZ)995700000000357263 100 $a20230413d2023 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 14$aThe Fate of Political Scientists in Europe $eFrom Myth to Action /$fby Giliberto Capano, Luca Verzichelli 205 $a1st ed. 2023. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Palgrave Macmillan,$d2023. 215 $a1 online resource (XXI, 178 p. 18 illus., 12 illus. in color.) 311 $a3-031-24642-X 327 $aChapter 1. The future of European Political Science. 330 $aThe Fate of Political Scientists in Europe not only draws a comprehensive picture of today?s political science and of its scholars, but also reflects in a refreshing and challenging way on what it should be. - Kris Deschouwer, Emeritus Professor, Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium. Giliberto Capano and Luca Verzichelli take us into a fascinating intellectual journey that sheds light on how European scholars conceive of the profession and what attitudes and values animate their research activities. - Manuela Moschella, Associate professor in Political Science, Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy. Every so often academic disciplines should take stock of where they have come from, what they are, and what they want to be. This thorough study of European political science is an excellent example of such a stock-taking. - B. Guy Peters, Maurice Falk Professor of American Government, University of Pittsburgh, USA. This open access book offers a systematic survey of the attitudes and values of European political scientists. It builds a structural interpretation based on empirical data, as well as offering reflections on the future structure of the discipline. In the middle of a delicate phase of changes marked by the effects of pandemic and the war in Ukraine, we need to pay attention to the factors that are affecting not only the ?objects? of Political Science as a discipline but also its interactions with the world around it. First, this book asks to what extent the work of European political scientists is impacted by the current change. Second, their attitudes and predisposition about the future goals of the discipline are analysed. In the final chapter, the authors seek to understand to what extent a diffuse but still not completely institutionalized academic discipline will be able to produce a comprehensive impact around the European society, in order to be more visible and effective in policy making and policy processes. Giliberto Capano is Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at the University of Bologna, Italy.
