First, it lets users capture all the knowledge that goes into a workflow in any kind of organization, including the most difficult kind of all, the tacit knowledge people bring to the job and carry in their heads. Second, it is simple, powerful, flexible, and easy to learn. Third, it does not require installing, learning, and applying a complicated program (sometimes requiring reorganization to support the software rather than the software supporting the organization). It was developed by the author in a fifteen-year long program of studying, analyzing, and improving avionics maintenance processes for the U.S. Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force, and then applied to organizations of all kinds ever since, for more than two decades. It has been taught and applied by the author and others in many short courses. It works. 410 0$a2012 digital library. 410 0$aOperations and supply chain management collection.$x2156-8200 606 $aWorkflow 606 $aReengineering (Management) 606 $aKnowledge management 608 $aElectronic books. 610 $aBusiness process 610 $abusiness process mapping 610 $aworkflow mapping 610 $aknowledge management 610 $atacit knowledge 615 0$aWorkflow. 615 0$aReengineering (Management) 615 0$aKnowledge management. 676 $a658.51 700 $aKmetz$b John L$01134983 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910530634503321 996 $aMapping workflows and managing knowledge$92670064 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02139nas 2200637-a 450 001 996218284503316 005 20220322213019.0 011 $a2218-6018 035 $a(DE-599)ZDB2914963-0 035 $a(OCoLC)230746723 035 $a(CKB)1000000000238755 035 $a(CONSER)--2015250761 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000238755 100 $a19840530a19839999 -f- - 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aLaw of the sea bulletin 210 $a[New York] $cUnited Nations, Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Law of the Sea 215 $a1 online resource (volumes) 300 $aContains information on the ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. 311 $a1015-1885 517 1 $aBulletin ... law of the sea 517 3 $aLaw of the sea 606 $aLaw of the sea$vPeriodicals 606 $aDroit de la mer$vPériodiques 606 $aLaw of the sea$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00994049 606 $aRecht van de zee$2gtt 606 $aLAW OF THE SEA$2unbist 606 $aTREATIES$2unbist 606 $aDISPUTES$2unbist 606 $aLAWS AND REGULATIONS$2unbist 608 $aPeriodical 608 $aperiodicals.$2aat 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 608 $aPeriodicals.$2lcgft 608 $aPériodiques.$2rvmgf 615 0$aLaw of the sea 615 6$aDroit de la mer 615 7$aLaw of the sea. 615 17$aRecht van de zee. 615 07$aLAW OF THE SEA. 615 07$aTREATIES. 615 07$aDISPUTES. 615 07$aLAWS AND REGULATIONS. 676 $a341.4/5/05 686 $a86.93$2bcl 712 02$aUnited Nations.$bOffice of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Law of the Sea. 712 02$aUnited Nations.$bOffice for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea. 712 02$aUnited Nations.$bDivision for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea. 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a996218284503316 996 $aLaw of the sea bulletin$92077195 997 $aUNISA
