Yet, paradoxically, colonial conquest, population pressure, biological invasions, new technology, and economic globalization caused both dramatic deforestation and reforestation in less than a century. The paradox stems from the fact that the prevailing global environmental models obscure and homogenize the process of environmental change: different and contradictory interpretations are dismissed as alternative readings or misreadings of the same process. Deforestation and Reforestation , however, argues that the paradox highlights the need to reframe environmental change as plural processes occurring along multiple trajectories that may be dissynchronized and asymmetrical. 410 0$aAfrika-Studiecentrum series ;$vv. 17. 606 $aDeforestation$zNamibia 606 $aReforestation$zNamibia 606 $aEnvironmental policy$zNamibia 606 $aGlobal environmental change 607 $aNamibia$xEnvironmental conditions 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aDeforestation 615 0$aReforestation 615 0$aEnvironmental policy 615 0$aGlobal environmental change. 676 $a333.75096881 700 $aKreike$b Emmanuel$f1959-$0984699 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910459738003321 996 $aDeforestation and reforestation in Namibia the global consequences of local contradictions$92250156 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02945nam 2200613 450 001 9910460364503321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a0-87462-037-6 035 $a(CKB)3710000000501939 035 $a(EBL)3563983 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001552580 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)16170566 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001552580 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)14719918 035 $a(PQKB)11534805 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3563983 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3563983 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11085839 035 $a(OCoLC)918925427 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000501939 100 $a20151119h20132013 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aAssessing evidence in a postmodern world /$fedited by Bonnie Brennen ; contributors, Daniel D. If left untreated, chronic insomnia reduces quality of life and increases risk for psychiatric and medical disease, especially depression and anxiety. There are two forms of insomnia: secondary insomnia, in which it is comorbid with another condition such as psychiatric disorders, chronic pain conditions, or cardiopulmonary disorders, and primary insomnia, which does not coexist with any other disorder, Though insomnia may be caused by any number of things, it is primarily sustained by the development of poor sleep habi 410 0$aTreatments that work. 606 $aInsomnia$xTreatment$vPopular works 606 $aCognitive therapy 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aInsomnia$xTreatment 615 0$aCognitive therapy. 676 $a616.8 676 $a616.8/498 676 $a616.8498 700 $aEdinger$b Jack D$0904961 701 $aCarney$b Colleen$0904962 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453279203321 996 $aOvercoming insomnia$92023660 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02300nam 2200517 450 001 9910787692703321 005 20230801231219.0 010 $a1-78160-311-1 035 $a(CKB)2670000000406066 035 $a(EBL)1337415 035 $a(OCoLC)855505264 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001056564 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11568987 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001056564 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11037827 035 $a(PQKB)10205815 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1337415 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000406066 100 $a20160212h20122012 uy 0 101 0 $afre 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 13$aLa splendeur de l'architecture gothique anglaise /$fJohn Shannon Hendrix 210 1$aNew York :$cParkstone International,$d[2012] 210 4$d©[2012] 215 $a1 online resource (256 p.) 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a1-906981-99-X 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aSommaire; Introduction; Le Gothique primaire; Le Gothique de?coratif; Le Gothique curviline?aire; Le Gothique perpendiculaire; Remerciements; Bibliographie; Liste des illustrations 330 $aCet ouvrage est l'occasion d'expliquer et de ce?le?brer la richesse de ces e?glises et cathe?drales qui occupant une place majeure au sein de l'architecture me?die?vale occidentale.
