The extensive outsourcing of military and security activities has challenged conventional conceptions of the state as the primary holder of coercive power and raised concerns about the reduction in state control over the use of violence. Hannah Tonkin critically analyses the international obligations on three key states - the hiring state, the home state and the host state of a PMSC - and identifies the circumstances in which PMSC misconduct may give rise to state responsibility. This analysis will facilitate the assessment of state responsibility in cases of PMSC misconduct and set standards to guide states in developing their domestic laws and policies on private security. 410 0$aCambridge studies in international and comparative law (Cambridge, England : 1996) ;$v84. 517 3 $aState Control over Private Military & Security Companies in Armed Conflict 606 $aMercenary troops (International law) 606 $aMercenary troops$xLegal status, laws, etc 606 $aPrivate military companies (International law) 606 $aPrivate military companies$xLaw and legislation 606 $aPrivate security services$xLaw and legislation 615 0$aMercenary troops (International law) 615 0$aMercenary troops$xLegal status, laws, etc. 615 0$aPrivate military companies (International law) 615 0$aPrivate military companies$xLaw and legislation. 615 0$aPrivate security services$xLaw and legislation. 676 $a355.3/5 700 $aTonkin$b Hannah$f1981-$0611656 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910458043403321 996 $aState control over private military and security companies in armed conflict$91138274 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02004nam2 22004093i 450 001 UBO1314326 005 20231121125856.0 010 $a8836522912 100 $a20150121d2001 ||||0itac50 ba 101 | $aita 102 $ait 181 1$6z01$ai $bxxxe 182 1$6z01$an 200 1 $aDecimo rapporto sul turismo, 2001$f[coordinamento generale: Emilio Becheri$ga cura di Piero Barucci ... et al.$gcon la collaborazione di: Ministero dell'industria del commercio e dell'artigianato, direzione generale per il turismo] 210 $aFirenze$cMercury$dstampa 2001 215 $a 772 p.$d24 cm 225 | $aTouring university press 300 $aGli autori si ricavano dalle parti compl. del front 300 $aIn cop.: Touring club italiano [distributore]. 410 0$1001RAV0701669$12001 $aTouring university press 461 1$1001IEI0079598$12001 $aRapporto sul turismo italiano$fMinistero del turismo e dello spettacolo 517 1 $aRapporto sul turismo italiano. -$9UFI0081138 606 $aTurismo$xItalia$2FIR$3RMLC197048$9I 676 $a338.47910945$9$v21 702 1$aBecheri$b, Emilio$3CFIV007650 702 1$aBarucci$b, Piero$3CFIV019495 712 01$aItalia$b : Dipartimento del turismo$3PUVV176890 791 02$aItalia$b : Ministero dell'industria, del commercio e dell'artigianato$b : Dipartimento del turismo$3CFIV204119$zItalia : Dipartimento del turismo 791 02$aPresidenza del Consiglio dei ministri$b : Dipartimento del turismo$3UBOV101837$zItalia : Dipartimento del turismo 801 3$aIT$bIT-01$c20150121 850 $aIT-FR0098 899 $aBiblioteca Area Giuridico Economica$bFR0098 912 $aUBO1314326 950 2$aBiblioteca Area Giuridico Economica$d 53IMP 338.47910945/2$e 53VM 0000118995 VM barcode:ECO010837. - Inventario:6506. - Fondo:Sala consultazioneVM$fA $h20020521$i20121204 977 $a 53 996 $aDecimo rapporto sul turismo, 2001$9507783 997 $aUNICAS
