606 $aSociology & Social History$2HILCC 606 $aSocial Sciences$2HILCC 606 $aSocial Change$2HILCC 610 $aspécifités nationales 610 $aculture contemporaine 610 $aimpérialisme académique 615 7$aSociology & Social History 615 7$aSocial Sciences 615 7$aSocial Change 700 $aCervulle$b Maxime$0959607 702 $aMacé$b Éric 702 $aLindgaard$b Jade 801 0$bPQKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910133375403321 996 $aCultural studies : genèse, objets, traductions$92174627 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03771nam 2200661Ia 450 001 9910961603303321 005 20251117115053.0 010 $a9786610179381 010 $a9780309166751 010 $a0309166756 010 $a9781280179389 010 $a1280179384 010 $a9780309527354 010 $a030952735X 035 $a(CKB)111087027008994 035 $a(OCoLC)133159847 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebrary10049162 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000244504 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12076612 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000244504 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10169771 035 $a(PQKB)11680010 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3375861 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3375861 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10049162 035 $a(OCoLC)923259494 035 $a(Perlego)4731190 035 $a(BIP)10798393 035 $a(EXLCZ)99111087027008994 100 $a20020429g2003 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 12$aA strategic vision for immunization $esummary of the Washington, D.C. workshop /$fCommittee on the Immunization Finance Dissemination Workshops, Division of Health Care Services, Institute of Medicine 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aWashington, D.C. $cNational Academy Press$dc2003 215 $a1 online resource (59 p.) 225 0 $aSetting the course ;$vpart 4 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 08$a9780309090681 311 08$a0309090687 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aFrontMatter -- Contents -- Tables, Figures, and Box -- Executive Summary -- Introduction -- A National Perspective on the Immunization System -- Building the Immunization Infrastructure -- Private-Sector Roles in the National Immunization Partnership -- Unresolved Problems and Future Challenges -- Final Observations -- References -- Appendixes -- A Workshop Agenda -- B List of Workshop Participants -- C Website Referrals. 330 $aIn 2000, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) produced a report Calling the Shots: Immunization Finance Policies and Practices (IOM, 2000a) that illustrated the uncertainties and instability of the public health infrastructure that supports U.S. immunization programs. The IOM report proposed several strategies to address these concerns and to strengthen the immunization infrastructure. In March 2002, a group of 50 health officials, public health experts, health care providers, health plan representatives, health care purchasers, and community leaders met at The National Academies in Washington, DC to explore the implications of the IOM findings and recommendations for the federal and state governments. Private health plans and business sector representatives also participated in the meeting to discuss their role in fostering high levels of immunization coverage. The one-day workshop was the fourth and last in a series of meetings organized by IOM with support from the CDC to foster informed discussions about future financing strategies for immunization and the public health infrastructure. This report of the Washington, DC workshop summarizes the findings of the IOM study, reviews the implementation of the IOM recommendations, and highlights continuing immunization finance challenges for the nation as a whole as well as state and local health departments. 606 $aImmunization$zUnited States 606 $aPublic health$zUnited States 615 0$aImmunization 615 0$aPublic health 676 $a614.470973 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910961603303321 996 $aA strategic vision for immunization$94355779 997 $aUNINA
