The papers address a spectrum of issues in Tibetan religion and literature, ranging in time and space from the far eastern oasis of Dunhuang in the tenth century through 'high classical' developments in Central Tibet in the early fifteenth century. It is divided into four parts, addressing respectively literary and religious issues in tenth-century Dunhuang, the textual history of the Old Tantric Canon (Rnying ma'i rgyud 'bum), the development of Tibetan religious literature in the new translation period, and the history and transmission of several influential systems of esoteric Buddhism. 410 0$aBrill's Tibetan studies library ;$vv. 10/4. 517 3 $aProceedings of the tenth seminar of the IATS, 2003 606 $aBuddhism$zChina$zTibet Autonomous Region$xHistory$vCongresses 615 0$aBuddhism$xHistory 676 $a294.3/923 701 $aDavidson$b Ronald M.$f1950-$01757881 701 $aWedemeyer$b Christian K$0712930 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910824991003321 996 $aTibetan Buddhist literature and praxis$94195880 997 $aUNINA
