This volume presents the proceedings of a workshop intended to assess the current state of research in this field and to facilitate interaction between groups working on very different aspects of object-oriented distributed systems. The workshop was held as part of the 1993 European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming (ECOOP '93). Over fifty people submitted position papers and participated in the workshop, and almost half presented papers. The presented papers were carefully reviewed and revised after the workshop, and 14 papers were selected for this volume.Lecture Notes in Computer Science,0302-9743 ;791Computer programmingOperating systems (Computers)Software engineeringProgramming languages (Electronic computers)Programming Techniqueshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14010Operating Systemshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14045Software Engineeringhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14029Programming Languages, Compilers, Interpretershttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14037Computer programming.Operating systems (Computers).Software engineering.Programming languages (Electronic computers).Programming Techniques.Operating Systems.Software Engineering.Programming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters.005.2Guerraoui Rachidedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtNierstrasz Oscaredthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtRiveill Micheledthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtECOOP (Conference)(7th :1993 :Kaiserslautern, Germany)BOOK996465995403316Object-based distributed programming1501943UNISA01027nam a2200265 i 450099100341791970753620020509121758.0960614s1987 ||| ||| | ||| 080520525Xb11158384-39ule_instPARLA181474ExLDip.to scienze storicheitaGreenberg, Louis540155The Jews in Russia :the struggle for emancipation /Louis Greenberg ; two volumes in one with a new foreword by Alfred LevinNew York :Schocken Books,1987XIII, 213 p. ;20 cm.Yale historical publications : miscellany ;45Ebrei in RussiaStoria1772-1917Levin, Alfred.b1115838423-02-1728-06-02991003417919707536LE009 Stor. 79.1-14712009000362246le009-E0.00-l- 01410.i1130144228-06-02Jews in Russia872937UNISALENTOle00901-01-96ma -engxx 4104793nam 22007215 450 991033805790332120220113230729.09783030034368303003436410.1007/978-3-030-03436-8(CKB)4100000007598540(DE-He213)978-3-030-03436-8(MiAaPQ)EBC5654964(PPN)259461369(Perlego)3491284(EXLCZ)99410000000759854020190129d2019 u| 0engurnn#008mamaatxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierStrategic Planning in Local Communities A Cross-National Study of 7 Countries /edited by Călin Emilian Hințea, Marius Constantin Profiroiu, Tudor Cristian Țiclău1st ed. 2019.Cham :Springer International Publishing :Imprint: Palgrave Macmillan,2019.1 online resource (XVII, 252 p. 14 illus.)Governance and Public Management,2524-72989783030034351 3030034356 Chapter 1: Introduction -- Chapter 2: Through the Looking-Glass: What does strategic planning reveal in French local governments? -- Chapter 3: Strategic Planning in Post-Communist Settings - The Example of Hungary -- Chapter 4: Strategic planning in local public administration. While strategic planning has been a field of interest for public management and administrative science for over half a century there are very few cross-national studies of the specifics of planning in local governments. The book analyses the planning activities of local authorities in 7 diverse countries: France, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Spain, Turkey and USA. Although theoretical models of strategic planning are used, the book's findings point to a very diverse and interesting environment with cultural, political and legal factors playing a significant role in shaping how planning is done in each country.
