In particular, there is significant evidence to support the involvement of the TBX1 gene in DiGeorge / Velocardiofacial syndrome (DGS/VCFS) and it has been proved that the TBX3 and TBX5 genes are implicated, respectively, in UMS (Ulnar Mammary Syndhrome) and in Holt-Oram syndrome (HOS). The book collects information available in the literature up to October 2001 on human TBX genes. The review of the data allowed to come to interesting considerations and offers ideas for orienting further research.GeneticsPathologyCongenital, Hereditary, and Neonatal Diseases and AbnormalitiesGenetic PhenomenaDNA-Binding ProteinsTranscription FactorsGenetic PhenomenaProteinsDiseaseAmino Acids, Peptides, and ProteinsDrug TherapyMutagenesisT-Box Domain ProteinsCongenital AbnormalitiesGenetics.Pathology.Congenital, Hereditary, and Neonatal Diseases and Abnormalities.Genetic Phenomena.DNA-Binding Proteins.Transcription Factors.Genetic Phenomena.Proteins.Disease.Amino Acids, Peptides, and Proteins.Drug Therapy.Mutagenesis.T-Box Domain Proteins.Congenital Abnormalities.575Romagno Daniela1023055ItFiCItFiCMHBOOK9910146163703321Geni TBX e patologia umana2430391UNINAThis Record contains information from the Harvard Library Bibliographic Dataset, which is provided by the Harvard Library under its Bibliographic Dataset Use Terms and includes data made available by, among others the Library of Congress
