L'esplorazione dell'universo dell'informazione scientifica di rete ha evidenziato opportunità e rischi insiti nelle attuali modalità di trattamento in formato elettronico, individuandone i punti deboli, elaborando profili metodologici e indicazioni applicative, e convergendo verso un modello per la circolazione e la disponibilità delle idee registrate in vario modo nelle rete.
