Knowledge, Theory of, in literatureKnowledge, Theory of, in literature.809.39384Bühler JillEder AntoniaNjHacINjHaclBOOK996540359803316Das Unnütze Wissen in der Literatur3005548UNISA04714nam 2200685Ia 450 991078479810332120210604030621.01-281-22343-397866112234340-226-26184-010.7208/9780226261843(CKB)1000000000399176(EBL)408236(OCoLC)437247586(SSID)ssj0000138826(PQKBManifestationID)11154865(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000138826(PQKBWorkID)10105369(PQKB)11453280(MiAaPQ)EBC408236(DE-B1597)535592(OCoLC)781253330(DE-B1597)9780226261843(Au-PeEL)EBL408236(CaPaEBR)ebr10216980(CaONFJC)MIL122343(EXLCZ)99100000000039917619950308d1995 uy 0engurun#---|u||utxtccrDifferences and changes in wage structures[electronic resource] /edited by Richard B. A Comparative Analysis of East and West German Labor Markets: Before and After Unification --Contributors --Author Index --Subject IndexDuring the past two decades, wages of skilled workers in the United States rose while those of unskilled workers fell; less-educated young men in particular have suffered unprecedented losses in real earnings. These twelve original essays explore whether this trend is unique to the United States or is part of a general growth in inequality in advanced countries. Focusing on labor market institutions and the supply and demand forces that affect wages, the papers compare patterns of earnings inequality and pay differentials in the United States, Australia, Korea, Japan, Western Europe, and the changing economies of Eastern Europe. Cross-country studies examine issues such as managerial compensation, gender differences in earnings, and the relationship of pay to regional unemployment. From this rich store of data, the contributors attribute changes in relative wages and unemployment among countries both to differences in labor market institutions and training and education systems, and to long-term shifts in supply and demand for skilled workers. These shifts are driven in part by skill-biased technological change and the growing internationalization of advanced industrial economies.NBER Comparative labor markets series.Labor costsCase studiesCongressesWagesCase studiesCongresseswages, wage structures, united states of america, usa, unskilled workers, labor, work, earnings, inequality, wealth gap, markets, institutions, australia, korea, japan, europe, international studies, unemployment, gender differences, managerial compensation, training, education, case study, employment, solidarity, germany, italy, great britain, sweden.Labor costsWages331.2/1331.21331.2153Freeman Richard B(Richard Barry),1943-118990Katz Lawrence F119817MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910784798103321Differences and changes in wage structures3725207UNINA02335nam 22004453 450 991079537790332120221007173303.01-61537-385-3(CKB)4940000000613501(MiAaPQ)EBC6733524(Au-PeEL)EBL6733524(OCoLC)1273979757(EXLCZ)99494000000061350120211214d2021 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierProblem-Focused Psychodynamic Psychotherapy1st ed.Washington, D.C. :American Psychiatric Association Publishing,2021.©2021.1 online resource (178 pages)1-61537-324-1 Cover -- Half Title -- Title -- Copyright -- Contents -- About the Author -- Introduction -- 1 Developing a Problem List -- 2 Using Psychodynamic Techniques -- 3 Examining the Context, Emotions, and Developmental History Contributing to Problems -- 4 Developing a Psychodynamic Formulation -- 5 Addressing Problems: A Framework -- 6 Addressing the Role of Adverse and Traumatic Experiences in Problems -- 7 Addressing Personality Disorders -- 8 Integrating Dissociated Aspects of Self and Other Representations -- 9 Working Through -- 10 Managing Termination -- Index -- D -- E -- F -- G -- I -- L -- M -- N -- O -- P -- R -- S -- T -- W -- Back Cover.Drawing on a wealth of case vignettes, the book describes how to apply Problem-Focused Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (PrFPP) to symptoms, personality issues, behavioral problems, and relationship difficulties.
