This book aims to contribute to the field of global literary studies with a more inclusive and decentralising approach. Specifically, it responds to a double demand: the need for expanding openness to other ways of seeing the global literary space by including multiple literary and cultural traditions and other interdisciplinary perspectives in the discussion, and the need for conceptual models and different case studies that will help develop a global approach in four key avenues of research: global translation flows and translation policies, the post-1989 novel as a global form, global literary environments, and a global perspective on film and cinema history. Gathering contributions from international scholars with expertise in various areas of research, the volume is structured around five target concepts: space, scale, time, connectivity, and agency. We also take gender and LGBTQ+ perspectives, as well as a digital approach.LITERARY CRITICISM / GeneralbisacshCultural transfer.Globalization.Literary circulation.Literary translation.LITERARY CRITICISM / General.801Bergenmar Jenny, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbCaracciolo Marco, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbCarbó-Catalan Elisabet, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbClariana-Rodagut Ainamar, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbEspagne Michel, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbFólica Laura, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbGanguly Debjani, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbGrinberg Pla Valeria, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbHagener Malte, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbMeylaerts Reine, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbMota Aurea, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbOrsini Francesca, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbOruc Firat, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbPuxan-Oliva Marta, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbRoig-Sanz Diana, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbRoig-Sanz Diana, edthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtRotger Neus, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbRotger Neus, edthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtVimr Ondřej, ctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbEuropean Research Council (ERC)fndhttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/fndDE-B1597DE-B1597BOOK996500671603316Global Literary Studies2995619UNISA
