This volume addresses the subject by combining the deformation quantization approach, based on the notion of star-product, and the deformed quantum symmetries methods, based on the theory of quantum groups. The aim of this work is to give an introduction to this topic and to prepare the reader to enter the research field quickly. The order of the chapters is "physics first": the mathematics follows from the physical motivations (e.g. gauge field theories) in order to strengthen the physical intuition. The new mathematical tools, in turn, are used to explore further physical insights. A last chapter has been added to briefly trace Julius Wess' (1934-2007) seminal work in the field.Lecture Notes in Physics,0075-8450 ;774PhysicsGroup theoryQuantum physicsMathematical Methods in Physicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19013Group Theory and Generalizationshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M11078Quantum Physicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19080Physics.Group theory.Quantum physics.Mathematical Methods in Physics.Group Theory and Generalizations.Quantum Physics.530.15636Aschieri Paoloauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut1064504Dimitrijevic Marijaauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autKulish Petrauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autLizzi Fedeleauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autWess Juliusauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autBOOK996466720103316Noncommutative Spacetimes2538645UNISA02969nam 2200601 450 99633194960331620200917021826.03-11-044765-73-11-044804-110.1515/9783110448047(OCoLC)931648248(CKB)3850000000001104(EBL)4595509(MiAaPQ)EBC4595509(DE-B1597)457845(OCoLC)958054441(DE-B1597)9783110448047(Au-PeEL)EBL4595509(CaPaEBR)ebr11237006(CaONFJC)MIL941023(OCoLC)953844222(PPN)202110540(EXLCZ)99385000000000110420160805h20162016 uy 0engur|n|---|||||rdacontentrdamediardacarrierDiagoras of Melos a contribution to the history of ancient atheism /Marek Winiarczyk ; translated from Polish by Witold Zbirohowski-KośsciaBerlin, [Germany] ;Boston, [Massachusetts] :De Gruyter,2016.©20161 online resource (242 p.)Beiträge zur Altertumskunde,1616-0452 ;Band 350Description based upon print version of record.3-11-044805-X 3-11-044377-5 Includes bibliographical references and indexes.Frontmatter -- Preface -- Contents -- Abbreviations -- I. B.C.) has received special attention for some time now because he was regarded as a radical atheist and the author of a prose work on atheism in antiquity. He was notorious for revealing and ridiculing the Eleusinian Mysteries and was condemned for impiety at Athens. The present book evaluates Diagoras’ biography and shows that he cannot be considered to have been an atheist in the modern sense.Beiträge zur Altertumskunde ;Band 350.AtheismGreeceHistoryAtheismHistory.200.938Winiarczyk Marek213731Zbirohowski-Kośscia WitoldMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK996331949603316Diagoras of Melos2637268UNISA02131nam 2200481 450 991070998360332120180822102738.0(CKB)5470000002474427(OCoLC)1049172789(EXLCZ)99547000000247442720180822d2018 ua 0engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierGovernment efficiency and effectiveness: opportunities to reduce fragmentation, overlap, and duplication and achieve other financial benefits testimony before the Committee On Oversight and Government Report, House of Representatives // statement of Gene L.
