While martyrdom accounts remain a central means of defining Christian identity, new literary genres emerge, e.g., the Lives of Saints (Athanasius on Antony), sermons (the Cappadocians), hynms (Prudentius) and more. Authors like Eusebius of Caesarea and Augustine employ martyrological language and motifs in their apologetical and polemic writings, while the Gesta Martyrum Romanorum represent a new type of veneration of the martyrs of a single site. Beyond the borders of the Roman Empire, new martyrs' narratives can be found. Additionally, two essays deal with methodological questions of research of such sources, thereby highlighting the hitherto understudied innovations of martyrology in Late Antiquity, that is, after the end of the persecutions of Christianity by Roman Emperors. Since then, martyrology gained new importance for the formation of Christian identity within the context of a Christianized imperium. The volume thus enlarges and specifies our knowledge of this fundamental Christian discourse.Arbeiten zur Kirchengeschichte ;116.MartyrdomChristianityHistoryEarly church, ca. 30-600Hagiography.Late Antiquity.Martyrdom.MartyrdomChristianityHistory272/.1Gemeinhardt PeteredtGemeinhardt Peter1970-714770Leemans Johan1965-878096MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK996309230603316Christian martyrdom in late antiquity (300-450 AD)2036819UNISA04810nam 22007215 450 991086109430332120250808085308.09783031480799303148079110.1007/978-3-031-48079-9(MiAaPQ)EBC31343973(Au-PeEL)EBL31343973(CKB)32063092600041(DE-He213)978-3-031-48079-9(OCoLC)1435472064(EXLCZ)993206309260004120240516d2024 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierEntrepreneurship, Technological Change and Circular Economy for a Green Transition Research Contributions for a More Productive Environment /edited by Conceição Rego, Maria Raquel Lucas, María Isabel Sánchez-Hernández, Luísa Cagica Carvalho, Adriana Backx Noronha1st ed. 2024.Cham :Springer Nature Switzerland :Imprint: Springer,2024.1 online resource (315 pages)Studies on Entrepreneurship, Structural Change and Industrial Dynamics,2511-20319783031480782 3031480783 Introduction -- Part I: Enterprises and Entrepreneurship -- Entrepreneurship, Circular Economy and New Business Models -- Toward the Green Transition of Business through the Circular Economy: Understanding the Role of Dynamic Capabilities -- The path to a circular economy through a green and digital transition. This book aims to address a range of approaches including, but not limited to, the conceptual, theoretical, and case studies related to the topics of the book. The topical focus is on how circular economy contributions, energy infrastructure, green transition, and digital transformation are contributing to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The expert contributions in the book particularly help us learn more about the answers to the current challenges of the green transition as well as how the necessary technological change will impact, mainly, the enterprises and the field of agriculture production and agribusiness. The book is mainly intended to support an academic audience (academics, university teachers, researchers, and post-graduate students – both Master's and Doctorate levels). In addition, this book will be of benefit to institutional experts, developers, and researchers in the fields of Entrepreneurship and technological change in circular economy and green transition.Studies on Entrepreneurship, Structural Change and Industrial Dynamics,2511-2031EntrepreneurshipNew business enterprisesIndustrial managementEnvironmental aspectsTechnological innovationsSustainabilityEntrepreneurshipCorporate Environmental ManagementInnovation and Technology ManagementSustainabilityEntrepreneurship.New business enterprises.Industrial managementEnvironmental aspects.Technological innovations.Sustainability.Entrepreneurship.Corporate Environmental Management.Innovation and Technology Management.Sustainability.338.04Rego Conceição1739410Lucas Maria Raquel1739411Sánchez Hernández Ma.
