The 34 revised full papers presented were carefully selected from 56 submissions and focus on geometric transforms, discrete and combinatorial tools for image segmentation and analysis, discrete and combinatorial topology, discrete shape representation, recognition and analysis, models for discrete geometry, morphological analysis and discrete tomography.Image Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Graphics ;7749Computer graphicsOptical data processingPattern recognitionComputer science—MathematicsAlgorithmsComputer Graphicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22013Image Processing and Computer Visionhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22021Computer Imaging, Vision, Pattern Recognition and Graphicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22005Pattern Recognitionhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I2203XDiscrete Mathematics in Computer Sciencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I17028Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexityhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021Computer graphics.Optical data processing.Pattern recognition.Computer science—Mathematics.Algorithms.Computer Graphics.Image Processing and Computer Vision.Computer Imaging, Vision, Pattern Recognition and Graphics.Pattern Recognition.Discrete Mathematics in Computer Science.Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity.006.6Gonzalez Diaz Rocioedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtJimenez Maria Joseedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtMedrano Belen Garfiaedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtBOOK996465616703316Discrete Geometry for Computer Imagery772781UNISA04136nam 22009372 450 991097516230332120151005020623.097866130120509780511986673051198667X9781107217935110721793897805119944700511994478978128301205812830120579780511992247051199224697805119932820511993285978051198947605119894749780511987656051198765X97805119751650511975163978051199125705119912582027/heb31444(CKB)2560000000060107(EBL)647411(OCoLC)704258011(SSID)ssj0000467339(PQKBManifestationID)11302621(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000467339(PQKBWorkID)10489995(PQKB)10963776(UkCbUP)CR9780511975165(Au-PeEL)EBL647411(CaPaEBR)ebr10449307(CaONFJC)MIL301205(MiAaPQ)EBC647411(dli)HEB31444(MiU)MIU01000000000000012932158(PPN)152324569(EXLCZ)99256000000006010720101011d2011|||| uy| 0engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierBombay Islam the religious economy of the West Indian Ocean, 1840-1915 /Nile Green1st ed.Cambridge :Cambridge University Press,2011.1 online resource (xvi, 327 pages) digital, PDF file(s)Title from publisher's bibliographic system (viewed on 05 Oct 2015).9781107627796 1107627796 9780521769242 0521769248 Includes bibliographical references and index.Introduction ---- 1. Bombay Islam in the Ocean's Southern City ---- Conclusions. As a thriving port city, nineteenth-century Bombay attracted migrants from across India and beyond. Nile Green's Bombay Islam traces the ties between industrialization, imperialism and the production of religion to show how Muslim migration fueled demand for a wide range of religious suppliers, as Christian missionaries competed with Muslim religious entrepreneurs for a stake in the new market. Enabled by a colonial policy of non-intervention in religious affairs, and powered by steam travel and vernacular printing, Bombay's Islamic productions were exported as far as South Africa and Iran. Connecting histories of religion, labour and globalization, the book examines the role of ordinary people - mill hands and merchants - in shaping the demand that drove the market. By drawing on hagiographies, travelogues, doctrinal works, and poems in Persian, Urdu and Arabic, Bombay Islam unravels a vernacular modernity that saw people from across the Indian Ocean drawn into Bombay's industrial economy of enchantment.Internal migrantsIndiaMumbaiHistoryMuslimsIndiaMumbaiHistoryIraniansIndiaMumbaiHistoryEconomicsReligious aspectsIslamMumbai (India)CommerceHistoryInternal migrantsHistory.MuslimsHistory.IraniansHistory.EconomicsReligious aspectsIslam.330.954/792031Green Nile792593UkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910975162303321Bombay Islam1772451UNINA
