And for the better effecting thereof, shall impose upon all the inhabitants within the same, upon every house worth 5 l. a year six pence, and every house of greater rent after the rate of two pence in the pound. Also, an ordinance of both houses for an assessment to be made in the several parishes of England for the relief of maimed soldiers, widows, and fatherless children. Die Martis, 7 Martii. 1642.
