Der Autodidakt Karl Ludwig von Haller verfasste die Schrift »Restauration der Staatswissenschaft«, deren unverhohlener wie wohlüberlegter Kampfgeist dem Leser von der ersten Seite an entgegenschlägt. Alexander Kruska zeigt, inwiefern von Hallers aufsehenerregender erster Band der Restaurationsschrift als eine politiktheoretisch motivierte, systematische Polemik zu verstehen ist.
