Crisis of Authority analyzes the practices that bind authority, trust and truthfulness in contemporary theory and politics. Drawing on newly available archival materials, Nancy Luxon locates two models for such practices in Sigmund Freud's writings on psychoanalytic technique and Michel Foucault's unpublished lectures on the ancient ethical practices of 'fearless speech', or parrhesia. Luxon argues that the dynamics provoked by the figures of psychoanalyst and truth-teller are central to this process. Her account offers a more supple understanding of the modern ethical subject and new insights into political authority and authorship.AuthorityPower (Social sciences)Authority.Power (Social sciences)303.3Luxon Nancy1027872UkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910453370203321Crisis of authority2443575UNINA01749nam 2200361 450 99627941970331620231207090400.00-7381-0363-2(CKB)3780000000090408(NjHacI)993780000000090408(EXLCZ)99378000000009040820231207d1992 uy 0engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierIEEE Standard for the Measurement of Audible Noise from Overhead Transmission Lines /Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)New York :Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE),1992.1 online resource (32 pages)Uniform procedures are established for manual and automatic measurement of audible noise from overhead transmission lines. Their purpose is to allow valid evaluation and comparison of the audible noise performance of various overhead lines. Definitions are provided, and instruments are specified. Measurement procedure are set forth, and precautions are given. Supporting data that should accompany the measurement data are specified, and methods for presenting the latter are described.IEEE Std 656-1992: IEEE Standard for the Measurement of Audible Noise From Overhead Transmission LinesPower transmissionNoiseMeasurementPower transmission.NoiseMeasurement.621.8NjHacINjHaclDOCUMENT996279419703316IEEE Standard for the Measurement of Audible Noise from Overhead Transmission Lines3646681UNISA01102nas 2200385 c 450 991089613490332120251012104323.0(DE-599)ZDB3065303-4(OCoLC)1252949201(DE-101)1234012251(CKB)4910000000549490(EXLCZ)99491000000054949020210525a20159999 |y |engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierVoprosy krymskotatarskoj filologii, istorii i kulʹturySimferopol'GBOUVO Respubliki Krym "Krymskij inženerno-pedagogičeskij universitet"[2015]-Online-RessourceAb 2018 erscheint halbjährlichZeitschriftgnd-content940400300890OSTDE-12fid0012DE-1019999JOURNAL9910896134903321Voprosy Krymskotatarskoj Filologii, Istorii i Kultury4220982UNINA
