The model is calibrated on Germany and the rest of the Euro area. The results indicate that German labor market reforms have positive spillover effects on the rest of the Euro area, which operate through the channel of trade, relative price adjustment, and financial market integration. Compared to a competitive labor market, setting, unionization dampens the positive response of the domestic economy and magnifies the spillover effects.IMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;No. 2008/113Labor marketEconometric modelsLabor marketGermanyEconometric modelsLabor unionsEconometric modelsLabor unionsGermanyEconometric modelsInternational tradeEconometric modelsExports and ImportsimfLaborimfMacroeconomicsimfDemand and Supply of Labor: GeneralimfWages, Compensation, and Labor Costs: GeneralimfEmploymentimfUnemploymentimfWagesimfIntergenerational Income DistributionimfAggregate Human CapitalimfAggregate Labor ProductivityimfMacroeconomics: ConsumptionimfSavingimfWealthimfEmpirical Studies of TradeimfLabourimfincome economicsimfInternational economicsimfLabor marketsimfConsumptionimfTerms of tradeimfLabor marketimfEconomic theoryimfEconomicsimfEconomic policyimfnternational cooperationimfGermanyimfLabor marketEconometric models.Labor marketEconometric models.Labor unionsEconometric models.Labor unionsEconometric models.International tradeEconometric models.Exports and ImportsLaborMacroeconomicsDemand and Supply of Labor: GeneralWages, Compensation, and Labor Costs: GeneralEmploymentUnemploymentWagesIntergenerational Income DistributionAggregate Human CapitalAggregate Labor ProductivityMacroeconomics: ConsumptionSavingWealthEmpirical Studies of TradeLabourincome economicsInternational economicsLabor marketsConsumptionTerms of tradeLabor marketEconomic theoryEconomicsEconomic policynternational cooperation331.12Dao Mai1463959DcWaIMFBOOK9910788238803321International Spillover of Labor Market Reforms3673497UNINA03602oam 2200697 450 99623483820331620240123174754.03-11-038849-93-11-031648-X10.1515/9783110316483(CKB)3360000000515024(EBL)1433438(SSID)ssj0001497083(PQKBManifestationID)12485601(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001497083(PQKBWorkID)11489956(PQKB)10396698(DE-B1597)209618(OCoLC)1013957376(OCoLC)952800076(DE-B1597)9783110316483(Au-PeEL)EBL1433438(CaPaEBR)ebr11084557(CaONFJC)MIL814766(OCoLC)922907169(MiAaPQ)EBC1433438(PPN)189628987(EXLCZ)99336000000051502420150815h20152015 uy 0gerur|n|---|||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierC.
