Its aim was to offer a concise and self-contained 'lecture-style' introduction to the theory of classical rigid geometry established by John Tate, together with the formal algebraic geometry approach launched by Michel Raynaud. These Lectures are now viewed commonly as an ideal means of learning advanced rigid geometry, regardless of the reader's level of background. Despite its parsimonious style, the presentation illustrates a number of key facts even more extensively than any other previous work. This Lecture Notes Volume is a revised and slightly expanded version of the original preprint and has been published at the suggestion of several experts in the field.Lecture Notes in Mathematics,0075-8434 ;2105MathematicsAlgebraic geometryNumber theoryMathematics, generalhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M00009Algebraic Geometryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M11019Number Theoryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M25001Mathematics.Algebraic geometry.Number theory.Mathematics, general.Algebraic Geometry.Number Theory.516.35Bosch Siegfriedauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut41946MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK996202532703316Lectures on formal and rigid geometry1392287UNISA02519nam 2200481 a 450 991078530250332120230725030454.01-282-97766-097866129776641-4411-7557-1(CKB)2670000000066001(EBL)655507(OCoLC)703137731(MiAaPQ)EBC655507(Au-PeEL)EBL655507(CaPaEBR)ebr10443227(CaONFJC)MIL297766(EXLCZ)99267000000006600120100527d2011 uy 0engur|n|---|||||Testing English[electronic resource] formative and summative approaches to English assessment /Bethan MarshallNew York Continuum International Pub. Bethan Marshall examines the nature of the subject, the battlegrounds of examinations over the last 100 years and considers some of the solutions that have been put in place to overcome the problem both in the UK and abroad. Testing English looks at the way English lends itself to formative assessment in that it actively encourages dialogue with the pupils in the absence of 'right answers'.
