La relazione prende in esame sia i progetti di investimento che di consolidamento istituzionale, nei quattro sottosettori pertinenti alla giustizia e agli affari interni: asilo e migrazione, gestione integrata delle frontiere, settore giudiziario e forze di polizia. A fronte di un ambiente politico e organizzativo difficile, la gestione operata dalla Commissione dei progetti nel settore della giustizia e degli affari interni è stata per lo più efficace. La Corte ha però rilevato alcune carenze, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il coinvolgimento dei beneficiari e la sostenibilità dei risultati. La relazione contiene alcune raccomandazioni che potrebbero aiutare la Commissione a fornire un’assistenza più efficiente ed efficace.
