It provides thorough, systematic, and empirical guideline on the topic. It makes full use of geological, drilling, logging, and seismic data, according to the principle of point-line-surface combination, to reconstruct the fine lithofacies paleogeography of Sinian-Triassic, reveals genesis and distribution characteristics of reservoir, evaluates the key exploration fields and favorable zones, and provides detailed basic geological data for oil and gas exploration. This book is used as reference for both professionals and students engaged in geology research. .GeologyGeophysicsCogeneration of electric power and heatFossil fuelsEnergy policyEnergy policyGeologyGeophysicsFossil FuelEnergy Policy, Economics and ManagementGeology.Geophysics.Cogeneration of electric power and heat.Fossil fuels.Energy policy.Energy policy.Geology.Geophysics.Fossil Fuel.Energy Policy, Economics and Management.551.7Li Qiufen1737669Wang TongshanMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQ9910855381903321Paleogeography and Gas Exploration of Marine Multiple Formations in Central Sichuan Basin4248744UNINA04844nam 22006735 450 991072510100332120251030100443.09781137600806(electronic bk.)978113760079010.1057/978-1-137-60080-6(MiAaPQ)EBC7248752(Au-PeEL)EBL7248752(OCoLC)1379359752(DE-He213)978-1-137-60080-6(BIP)087962741(CKB)26637853900041(EXLCZ)992663785390004120230510d2023 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierDepicting the Consumer of Experiential Luxury Identities, Values and Consumption Goals in Online Reviewer Discourse on Wine, Perfume and Chocolate /by Charlotte Hommerberg, Maria Lindgren1st ed. 2023.London :Palgrave Macmillan UK :Imprint: Palgrave Macmillan,2023.1 online resource (216 pages)Print version: Hommerberg, Charlotte Depicting the Consumer of Experiential Luxury London : Palgrave Macmillan UK,c2023 9781137600790 1. The consumers of review-based luxury. This book sheds light on the addressees of online reviewer discourse on wine, perfume and chocolate in order to explore how the discourse construes the consumer of experiential luxury. In the 21st century, luxury is more complex than ever before. Luxury products have become more affordable and hence accessible to new markets and consumer segments, and the groups of consumers seeking luxury experiences are more heterogeneous than ever. Yet, consumption choices as well as how these are thought about, evaluated and talked about still function to position consumers with respect to both how they see themselves and how they want others to see them. Many consumers seek to consume in subtle and sophisticated ways. They strive to develop consumption expertise with a view to maximizing their enjoyment from the luxury experience, avoiding overt displays of wealth while signalling status by means of luxury insight only available to the cognoscenti. One way for aficionados to develop their insight into the diversified and elusive realm of contemporary luxury is to engage with online reviewer discourse. The authors take a discourse analytic approach informed by the Appraisal model to expose the imagined addressees’ characteristics and behaviour, the luxury values they embrace and the goals of their luxury consumption. The authors argue that the activity of online reviewers is such a crucial arena in contemporary luxury that a new form of luxury consumption has emerged, which they label review-based luxury. This book will be of interest to students and academics in the fields of Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Communication, Argumentation, Media Studies and Marketing, as well as anyone with a general interest in wine, perfume and chocolate as experiential luxury. Charlotte Hommerberg is Senior Lecturer in English Linguistics at Linnaeus University, Sweden. Her engagement with discourse analysis comprises both teaching and research, and her prior work involves application and development of the Appraisal model for the study of wine discourse. Maria Lindgren is Associate Professor in Swedish Linguistics at Linnaeus University, Sweden. She has a keen interest in and a longstanding experience with discourse analysis in both teaching and research.Applied linguisticsCultureAdvertisingPsychological aspectsKnowledge, Sociology ofAdvertisingApplied LinguisticsSociology of CultureAdvertising PsychologySociology of Knowledge and DiscourseAdvertisingApplied linguistics.Culture.AdvertisingPsychological aspects.Knowledge, Sociology of.Advertising.Applied Linguistics.Sociology of Culture.Advertising Psychology.Sociology of Knowledge and Discourse.Advertising.418Hommerberg Charlotte1358474Lindgren Maria1358475MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQ9910725101003321Depicting the Consumer of Experiential Luxury3368597UNINA
