The international symposium MQC addresses the mathematics and quantum theory underlying secure modeling of the post quantum cryptography including e.g. mathematical study of the light-matter interaction models as well as quantum computing. The security of the most widely used RSA cryptosystem is based on the difficulty of factoring large integers. However, in 1994 Shor proposed a quantum polynomial time algorithm for factoring integers, and the RSA cryptosystem is no longer secure in the quantum computing model. This vulnerability has prompted research into post-quantum cryptography using alternative mathematical problems that are secure in the era of quantum computers. In this regard, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) began to standardize post-quantum cryptography in 2016. This book is suitable for postgraduate students in mathematics and computer science, as well as for experts in industry working on post-quantum cryptography.Mathematics for Industry,2198-350X ;33Applied mathematicsEngineering mathematicsData structures (Computer science)Quantum computersComputer securityMathematical and Computational Engineeringhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T11006Data Structures and Information Theoryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I15009Quantum Computinghttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M14070Systems and Data Securityhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I28060Mathematical and Computational EngineeringData Structures and Information TheoryQuantum ComputingSystems and Data SecurityMathematical and Computational Engineering ApplicationsData and Information SecurityCryptography for Quantum ComputersPost-quantum CryptographyNumber TheoryRepresentation TheoryQuantum PhysicsSecurity ModellingOpen AccessMaths for engineersAlgorithms & data structuresInformation theoryMathematical theory of computationComputer securityNetwork securityApplied mathematics.Engineering mathematics.Data structures (Computer science).Quantum computers.Computer security.Mathematical and Computational Engineering.Data Structures and Information Theory.Quantum Computing. Science StudiesSOCIAL SCIENCE / Sociology / GeneralbisacshAuthorship.Challenge.Ethics.Fairness.Integrity.Philosophy of Science.Plagiarism.Practice.Research Data.Research Ethics.Science.Scientific Misconduct.Society.Sociology of Science.Sociology.SOCIAL SCIENCE / Sociology / General.300AK 24400DE-Ofb1/22rvkFrisch Katrinauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut964204Czesnick Hjördisctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbFrisch Katrinctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbHagenström Felixauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autHagenström Felixctbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbReeg Neleauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autReeg Nelectbhttps://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctbDeutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)fndhttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/fndDE-B1597DE-B1597BOOK996496565403316Wissenschaftliche Fairness2966955UNISA
