Although reaction conditions, geometries, and fluid flow can vary widely among the applications of chemically reacting flows, all applications share a need for accurate, detailed descriptions of the chemical kinetics occurring in the gas-phase or on reactive surfaces. Chemically Reacting Flow: Theory and Practice combines fundamental concepts in fluid mechanics and physical chemistry, assisting the student and practicing researcher in developing analytical and simulation skills that are useful and extendable for solving real-world engineering problems. The first several chapters introduce transport processes, primarily from a fluid-mechanics point of view, incorporating computational simulation from the outset. The middle section targets physical chemistry topics that are required to develop chemically reacting flow simulations, such as chemical thermodynamics, molecular transport, chemical rate theories, and reaction mechanisms. The final chapters deal with complex chemically reacting flow simulations, emphasizing combustion and materials processingChemically Reacting Flow : Theory and Practice1511219TermodinamicaCombustione53621Calore, termodinamicaKee,Robert J.751749Coltrin,Michael E.751750Glarborg ,Peter751751ITUNIPARTHENOPE20180830RICAUNIMARChttps://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/book/10.1002/0471461296Accesso limitato alla rete di Ateneo Università di Napoli "Parthenope"data ultima consultazione: 30/08/2018000031954Chemically Reacting Flow : Theory and Practice1511219UNIPARTHENOPE02285nam 2200673 450 99646686960331620220910120338.03-540-39609-810.1007/BFb0065383(CKB)1000000000437819(SSID)ssj0000325966(PQKBManifestationID)12081454(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000325966(PQKBWorkID)10265154(PQKB)11544137(DE-He213)978-3-540-39609-3(MiAaPQ)EBC5595843(Au-PeEL)EBL5595843(OCoLC)1076232622(MiAaPQ)EBC6841953(Au-PeEL)EBL6841953(PPN)155231073(EXLCZ)99100000000043781920220910d1983 uy 0engurnn#008mamaatxtccrPropagation of singularities for Fuchsian operators /A.
