Eakin.Published by the American Geophysical Union as part of the Antarctic Research Series, Volume 31.The osteology of the Ross seal (Ommatophoca rossi) is described. The bones of this species closely resemble those of Leptonychotes, the only other Monachinae for which a general osteology is available. The hand and foot of Ommatophoca are relatively longer than those of other phocids, and several characteristics of this seal are adaptative modifications for swimming and for swallowing large prey. Possible sexual discriminating characteristics are discussed.Antarctic research series ;31.Marine biologyAntarcticaMarine biologyArctic regionsFishesAntarcticaClassificationMarine biologyMarine biologyFishes574.92/4 s599/.748PieĢrard Jean1934-1230295Kornicker Louis S.1919-PQKBBOOK996199859503316Biology of the Antarctic Seas IX2856040UNISA01266nam0 22002771i 450 UON0051212120231205105504.25720230309d1988 |0itac50 baengET|||| |||||Interview granted to the New York TimesMengistu HailemariamAddis AbabaMinistry of Information, Press Department198830 p.20 cmSul frontespizio nota a penna datata 22 marzo 1989IT-UONSI AFRFONDORICCI/569ETIOPIARelazioni estereStati Uniti d'AmericaUONC030363FIAddis AbabaUONL001816327.73063RELAZIONI ESTERE DEGLI STATI UNITI D'AMERICA CON L'ETIOPIA21MENGISTU Haile MariamUONV084946070671248Ministry of Information (Addis Ababa)UONV257412650ITSOL20240220RICASIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOUONSIUON00512121SIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOSI AFR FONDO RICCI 569 SI 40864 7 569 Sul frontespizio nota a penna datata 22 marzo 1989Interview granted to the New York Times3901974UNIOR01708nam0 22004453i 450 RMS000048620251003044342.0002378140820091005d1990 ||||0itac50 baengusz01i xxxe z01nElectronic materials sciencefor integrated circuits in Si and GaAsJames W.
