Families may find themselves unable to care for their older relatives, while formal services are often unavailable or inaccessible. Policies and services are beginning to focus on the community rather than institutions as the primary axis for care. This book examines the many factors contributing to needs for care among older persons as well as the ways in which impairments are defined and responded to by both the individual and society. ETAPS is an annual federated conference that was established in 1998by combining a number of existing and new conferences. This year it comprised 5 conferences (FOSSACS, FASE, ESOP, CC, TACAS), 13 satellite workshops (ACL2, AGT, CMCS, COCV, DCC, INT, LDTA, SC, SFEDL, SLAP, SPIN, TPTS, and VISS), 8invited lectures (not including those speci?c to the satellite events), and several tutorials. The events that comprise ETAPS address various aspects of the system - velopment process, including speci?cation, design, implementation, analysis, and improvement. The languages, methodologies, and tools which support these - tivities are all well within its scope. Di?erent blends of theory and practice are represented, with an inclination towards theory with a practical motivation on one hand and soundly-based practice on the other. Many of the issues involved in software design apply to systems in general, including hardware systems, and the emphasis on software is not intended to be exclusive.Lecture Notes in Computer Science,0302-9743 ;2304Programming languages (Electronic computers)Logic, Symbolic and mathematicalSoftware engineeringArtificial intelligenceComputer logicProgramming Languages, Compilers, Interpretershttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14037Mathematical Logic and Formal Languageshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16048Software Engineeringhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14029Artificial Intelligencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000Logics and Meanings of Programshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I1603XProgramming languages (Electronic computers)Logic, Symbolic and mathematical.Software engineering.Artificial intelligence.Computer logic.Programming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters.Mathematical Logic and Formal Languages.Software Engineering.Artificial Intelligence.Logics and Meanings of Programs.005.4/53Horspool R.
