Devotional practice and love of God refer to people - mostly from the lay and religious elite -, ideas, copies of texts, images, and material objects, such as relics and reliquaries. The wide geographic borders and time span are used here to illustrate a broad picture composed around questions of worship, identity, religious affiliation and gender. Among the diversity of cases, the studies presented in this volume exemplify recurring themes, which occupied the Christian believer, such as the veneration of the Cross, translation of architecture, pilgrimage and patronage, emergence of iconography and devotional patterns. These essays are representing the research results of the project "Practicing Love of God: Comparing Women's and Men's Practice in Medieval Saxony" guided by the art historian Galit Noga-Banai, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the historian Hedwig Röckelein, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. This project was running from 2013 to 2018 within the Niedersachsen-Israeli Program and financed by the State of Lower Saxony.ChristianityReligious thoughtChristianity.Religious thought.230Pinchover Lotem1368757Röckelein HedwigNoga-Banai GalitNjHacINjHaclBOOK9910725985003321Devotional Cross-Roads3394699UNINA01374nam0 22003251i 450 UON0025147820231205103631.59328-653-7961-220040317d1999 |0itac50 bafreFR|||| 1||||ˆLe ‰cinéma iranienL'image d'une société en bouillonnementDe la Vache au Gout de la ceriseHormuz KeyPréface de Marc FerroPrésentation de Jean-Claude CarrièreParisEditions Karthala1999321 p., 10 c. di tav.24 cm001UON000656522001 Hommes et sociétésCollection dirigée par Jean CopansCinemaIranUONC006198FIFRParisUONL002984IRA IX HIRAN - ARTI - MUSICA, TEATRO, CINEMA, DANZAAKEYHormuzUONV148453688764CARRIEREJean-ClaudeUONV063071FerroMarcUONV042868KhartalaUONV266096650ITSOL20251114RICASIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOUONSIUON00251478SIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOSI IRA IX H 019 SI SA 110401 7 019 CINEMA PERSIANOCinema - IranUONC006199Cinéma iranien1235108UNIOR
