Duffield, Joo Y. Song, Girish VenkataramanPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania :Wolters Kluwer,[2021]©20211 online resource (724 pages)1-4963-7554-8 Includes bibliographical references and index."Closely mirroring the daily sign-out process, Atlas of Lymph Node Pathology: A Pattern Based Approach is a highly illustrated, efficient guide to accurate diagnosis. This practical reference uses a proven, pattern-based approach to clearly explain how to interpret challenging cases by highlighting red flags in the clinical chart and locating hidden clues in the slides. Useful as a daily "scope-side guide," it features numerous clinical and educational features that help you find pertinent information, reach a correct diagnosis, and assemble a thorough and streamlined pathology report. More than 1,500 high-quality photomicrographs depict reactive and neoplastic processes involving lymph nodes, capturing the full spectrum of morphologic changes associated with common abnormalities, including relatively rare conditions. Captions include a morphologic description, highlighting subtle features and key diagnostic considerations. Practical tools throughout the text include: Tables that emphasize salient clinicopathologic features, management implications, and therapeutic options. Discussions of how and when to incorporate immunohistochemical and special stains, as well as the utilization of flow cytometry and molecular tools. Checklists for key elements of the diagnostic approach and sample notes for inclusion in pathology reports. Relevant endoscopic images, photographs of select gross specimens, and medical figures. Brief reviews of normal histology that provide contrast to succeeding patterns. "Pearls and Pitfalls" and "Near Misses" sections with lessons from real-life sign-out experience . "Frequently Asked Questions" sections that discuss common diagnostic dilemmas. "Sample Note" sections that offer a template of how to synthesize complicated or especially challenging topicsQuizzes in every chapter that provide experience with high-yield, board-style teaching topics"--Provided by publisher.Lymph nodesAtlasLymph nodes.616.42Duffield Amy S.1608648Venkataraman GirishSong Joo Y.MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910809039703321Atlas of lymph node pathology3935514UNINA06386nam 22007095 450 991029849590332120200919113742.03-658-08788-910.1007/978-3-658-08788-3(CKB)3710000000343625(EBL)1973744(SSID)ssj0001424193(PQKBManifestationID)11874403(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001424193(PQKBWorkID)11366944(PQKB)11336931(DE-He213)978-3-658-08788-3(MiAaPQ)EBC1973744(PPN)183518004(EXLCZ)99371000000034362520150129d2015 u| 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrStaying the Consumption Course Exploring the Individual Lock-in Process in Service Relationships /by Benjamin Krischan Schulte1st ed. 2015.Wiesbaden :Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden :Imprint: Springer Gabler,2015.1 online resource (240 p.)Description based upon print version of record.3-658-08787-0 Includes bibliographical references.Danksagung; Table of Contents; List of Figures; List of Tables; List of Abbreviations; 1. Final Discussion5.1 Summary of Results; 5.2 Contributions; 5.3 Limitations and Research Outlook; Appendix; ReferencesBenjamin Krischan Schulte develops a process-model of consumer lock-in in service relationships by connecting three areas of research: path dependence, consumer behavior and service relationship marketing. He defines consumer lock-in as a situation of a potentially unaware inability to switch from or exit a consumption process due to entrenchment with increasing barriers on the individual and/or social level. Switching barriers are elaborated as consumer lock-in mechanisms. The resulting process model is outlined and empirically examined in an explorative panel study of a service relationship process in higher education. The author´s findings support the presence of consumer lock-in in services as an idiosyncratic process of gradual entrapment. The phenomenon has relevance for researchers and practitioners in complex service relationships, where lock-in was found to be a likely occurrence but difficult to grasp.
