Adam [and four others]Washington, DC :Department of Veterans Affairs, Health Services Research and Development Service,[2012]©20121 online resource (iv, 115 pages) illustrationsEvidence-Based Synthesis Program"Evidence-based synthesis program.""April 2012."Includes bibliographical references. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) System serves a largely older, male population with a high prevalence of chronic atrial fibrillation (AF) and venous thromboembolism (VTE). Many veterans with chronic AF have risk profiles for stroke that, according to current clinical guidelines, place them in a risk group where chronic anticoagulation is recommended. Adjusted-dose warfarin has been the preferred approach to chronic anticoagulation in the VHA, and in many VHA settings, specialized therapeutic drug-monitoring services provide high-quality warfarin treatment. However, the advent of newer anticoagulants with the promise of simplified long-term anticoagulation requires reconsideration of current treatment practices. The purpose of this systematic review was to study the comparative effectiveness of warfarin and the newer oral anticoagulants used for the long-term prevention and treatment of arterial and venous thromboembolism. An evaluation of newer oral anticoagulants for VTE prophylaxis in the perioperative period will be the subject of a later report.Evidence-based synthesis program (Series)ThromboembolismUnited StatesfastTechnical reports.lcgftThromboembolism.616.145Adam Soheir S.1353454Adam Soheir S.United States.Department of Veterans Affairs.Health Services Research and Development Service,Durham VA Medical Center.Evidence-based Synthesis Program Center.Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (U.S.)Evidence-based Synthesis Program (U.S.)NjHacINjHaclBOOK9910717370303321Comparative effectiveness of warfarin and newer oral anticoagulants for the long-term prevention and treatment of arterial and venous thromboembolism3498644UNINA01183nam0 22003011i 450 UON0007610920231205102411.12908-698-5513-120020107d1981 |0itac50 bazulZA|||| |||||Isibuko senhlizinoMirror of the heart: An anthology of Zulu poems]ihlelwe ngu Sibusiso NyembeziPietermaritzburgShuter & Shooter1981108 p.ill.21 cm*Valore da inventariareIT-UONSI AALETTZ a/037*UON00360183Mirror of the heartPOESIA ZULUUONC021622FIPietermaritzburgUONL001819896.39861POESIA ZULU21NYEMBEZISibusiso C.L.UONV043978Shuter & ShooterUONV256659650ITSOL20240220RICASIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOUONSIUON00076109SIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOSI AA LETT Z a 037* SI AA 8715 5 037* *Valore da inventariareIsibuko senhlizino1162782UNIOR
