The constituent radiators that build a reflectarray can be shaped to bring about some flexibility in the way that antenna operates such as multi band/polarization operation. The printed nature of these elements allow integration of active elements that can further enhance the functionality of the reflectarray. This allows for capabilities such as power amplification, adaptive beam shaping, and beam switching. This resource presents readers with design guidelines along with an ample amount of material on different types of reflectarrays and methods of analysis. This book begins with introductory material on reflectarray antennas and progresses to the presentation of state-of-the-art research in the field. A direct comparison with conventional reflector antennas is provided, focusing on conventional efficiency figures of reflectors. Moreover, this book offers remarks on the future direction of reflectarray research and also potential applications of the technology in face of the emergence of new fabrication techniques to accommodate both passive and active elements.Artech House antennas and propagation library.Antennas, ReflectarrayElectronic books.Antennas, Reflectarray.621.3824Shaker Jafar932352Chaharmir Mohammad Reza932353Ethier Jonathan932354CaBNVSLCaBNVSLCaBNVSLBOOK9910465181803321Reflectarray Antennas2097831UNINA02845oam 22006254a 450 991097311940332120230817193312.0978152611413615261141359781526144546152614454997815261141291526114127(CKB)4100000008209530(MiAaPQ)EBC5824929(StDuBDS)EDZ0002153508(OCoLC)1101101144(MdBmJHUP)muse77815(DE-B1597)659244(DE-B1597)9781526114129(Perlego)1526677(EXLCZ)99410000000820953020190829d2019 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierMutinous memories a subjective history of French military protest in 1919 /Matt PerryBaltimore, Maryland :Project Muse,2019Baltimore, Md. :Project MUSE,2019©20191 online resource (viii, 209 pages)Studies in modern French historyPreviously issued in print: 2019.9781526114112 1526114119 9781526114105 1526114100 Includes bibliographical references (pages [188]-204) and index.Sensing mutiny -- Mutinous emotion -- A mutineers' world : transnationalism and the sense of place -- Age, time and personal memory -- Associational memory. This book explores the eight-month wave of mutinies that struck the French infantry and navy in 1919. Based on official records and the testimony of dozens of participants, it is the first study to try to understand the world of the mutineers. Examining their words for the traces of sensory perceptions, emotions and thought processes, it reveals that the conventional understanding of the mutinies as the result of simple war-weariness and low morale is inadequate. In fact, an emotional gulf separated officers and the ranks, who simply did not speak the same language. The revolt entailed emotional sequences ending in a deep ambivalence and sense of despair or regret. Taking this into account, the book considers how mutineer memories persisted after the events in the face of official censorship, repression and the French Communist Party's co-option of the mutiny.Studies in modern French history.MutinyFranceHistory, Modern20th centuryMutinyHistory, Modern359.13340944Perry Matt524158MdBmJHUPMdBmJHUPBOOK9910973119403321Mutinous memories4356235UNINA
