I (= 1. pirsu)""Lamaštu was one of the most important Mesopotamian demons, playing a dominant role in the magico-religious and magico-medical beliefs and practices of ancient Mesopotamia for nearly two millennia. Yet, she has never been the subject of a scholarly monograph dedicated to the textual and visual evidence for her, her activities, and the measures that ancient magical specialists took to counter her. This volume also falls short of this description, because it covers only one part of the material: it is an edition of the textual record only, which is, however, collected here as completely as seems possible today. Walter Farber, who has studied these materials for decades, presents a comprehensive collection of all of the known texts, the texts of the primary incantations in a “score” format, and transliteration and translation of a number of ancillary texts. This much-awaited volume will fill the void in the literature on this aspect of the life and thought of ancient Mesopotamian peoples regarding the character of this malevolent creature and the means of warding off the threat that she posed.Mesopotamian civilizations ;17.Mythologie assyro-babyloniennereroIncantations akkadiennesreroReligion assyro-babyloniennereroLamassureroMythologie assyro-babylonienneramLamashtu (Assyro-Babylonian deity)Mythologie assyro-babylonienne.Incantations akkadiennes.Religion assyro-babylonienne.Lamassu.Mythologie assyro-babylonienne.Lamashtu (Assyro-Babylonian deity)299/.21Farber Walteraut1811263MdBmJHUPMdBmJHUPBOOK9910960248003321Lamaštu4363036UNINA03635nam 22005775 450 991096793370332120240505232937.09783110429312311042931410.1515/9783110438338(CKB)3710000001307354(DE-B1597)452523(OCoLC)987075823(OCoLC)989821740(DE-B1597)9783110438338(MiAaPQ)EBC4855882(Perlego)1137346(EXLCZ)99371000000130735420190615d2017 fg gerur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierUnternehmensführung Fallstudien, Klausuren, Übungen und Lösungen /Timm Eichenberg, Martin Hahmann, Olga Hördt, Maren Luther, Thomas Stelzer-Rothe1st ed.München ;Wien : De Gruyter Oldenbourg, [2017]©20171 online resource (237 p.)Lehr- und Klausurenbücher der angewandten Ökonomik ;59783110438345 3110438348 Frontmatter -- Vorwort -- Inhaltsverzeichnis -- Einleitung -- 1 "Fallstudie Kaffee Leben GmbH": Szenario-Beschreibung -- 2 Grundlagen der Unternehmensführung -- 3 Normatives Management -- 4 Grundlagen des strategischen Managements -- 5 Strategische Analyse -- 6 Strategieentwicklung -- 7 Strategieimplementierung -- 8 Strategische Kontrolle -- Index -- Literatur -- Tabellenverzeichnis -- Abbildungsverzeichnis -- Über die Autoren -- Lehr- und Klausurenbücher der angewandten ÖkonomikDie Vermittlung anwendungsorientierter Kompetenzen in der Unternehmensführung ist von hoher Bedeutung in vielen Disziplinen an den Hochschulen.
