The IMF staff welcomes the continued progress in implementing remedial actions to address the recent fraud and actions by the authorities toward meeting the end-December 2013 quantitative targets. The IMF staff also welcomes the interim forensic audit report. Although it did not contain all the information sought by the IMF staff, it had enough to assure the IMF staff that the remedial measures being implemented by the authorities to strengthen system controls and financial management are in the right areas. Some risks remain. It will be important to cautiously implement the fiscal spending program to preserve buffers, lest the final audit reveal slightly larger fund misappropriation.IMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;No. 2014/037International economic relationsFinance, PublicAccountingData processingIraqFinance, PublicAccountingInformation technologyIraqBanks and BankingimfBudgetingimfExports and ImportsimfPublic FinanceimfStatisticsimfMoney and Monetary PolicyimfNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: GeneralimfInternational Lending and Debt ProblemsimfBanksimfDepository InstitutionsimfMicro Finance InstitutionsimfMortgagesimfNational BudgetimfBudget SystemsimfDebtimfDebt ManagementimfSovereign DebtimfData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyimfComputer Programs: OtherimfCurrent Account AdjustmentimfShort-term Capital MovementsimfPublic finance & taxationimfInternational economicsimfBankingimfBudgeting & financial managementimfEconometrics & economic statisticsimfManagement accounting & bookkeepingimfMonetary economicsimfPublic financial management (PFM)imfBudget planning and preparationimfExpenditureimfExternal debtimfPublic debtimfBalance of payments statisticsimfEconomic and financial statisticsimfDebts, ExternalimfFinance, PublicimfBudgetimfBanks and bankingimfExpenditures, PublicimfFinanceimfDebts, PublicimfMalawiimfInternational economic relations.Finance, PublicAccountingData processingFinance, PublicAccountingInformation technologyBanks and BankingBudgetingExports and ImportsPublic FinanceStatisticsMoney and Monetary PolicyNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: GeneralInternational Lending and Debt ProblemsBanksDepository InstitutionsMicro Finance InstitutionsMortgagesNational BudgetBudget SystemsDebtDebt ManagementSovereign DebtData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyComputer Programs: OtherCurrent Account AdjustmentShort-term Capital MovementsPublic finance & taxationInternational economicsBankingBudgeting & financial managementEconometrics & economic statisticsManagement accounting & bookkeepingMonetary economicsPublic financial management (PFM)Budget planning and preparationExpenditureExternal debtPublic debtBalance of payments statisticsEconomic and financial statisticsDebts, ExternalFinance, PublicBudgetBanks and bankingExpenditures, PublicFinanceDebts, Public337DcWaIMFBOOK9910962146503321Malawi844500UNINA
