Fraser shows how Lefebvre's complex view of city as a mobile phenomenon is relevant to understanding a variety of Spanish cultural products-from urban plans and short writing on the urban experience during the nineteenth century to urban theories, cultural practices and literary fiction of the twentieth century, pushing on to interrogate even te apperance of Mediterranean space and Barcelona in recent videogames.Spanish literature20th centuryHistory and criticismCities and towns in literatureCity and town life in literatureCity and town lifeSpainSociology, UrbanSpainSpainCivilizationFrench influencesSpanish literatureHistory and criticism.Cities and towns in literature.City and town life in literature.City and town lifeSociology, Urban860.9/355Fraser Benjamin862449MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910955865403321Henri Lefebvre and the Spanish urban experience4452771UNINA06712oam 22016454 450 991096532360332120251116183854.0978661382235297814623376821462337686978145276324814527632409781282558212128255821897814519101861451910185(CKB)3360000000443270(EBL)1608450(SSID)ssj0000948575(PQKBManifestationID)11531046(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000948575(PQKBWorkID)10950155(PQKB)11063334(OCoLC)568151169(IMF)WPIEE2007001(MiAaPQ)EBC1608450(IMF)WPIEA2007001WPIEA2007001(EXLCZ)99336000000044327020020129d2007 uf 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrPolicy Credibility and Sovereign Credit The Case of New EU Member States /Manmohan Kumar, Jirí Jonáš, David Hauner1st ed.Washington, D.C. :International Monetary Fund,2007.1 online resource (31 p.)IMF Working Papers"January 2007."9781451865653 1451865651 Includes bibliographical references (p. 17-19).Contents; I. The case of the EU new member states (NMS)-emerging markets joining a supranational entity that is generally considered to have higher policy credibility-provides a unique experiment to assess the effects of credibility on sovereign credit. This paper examines the impact of EU accession on three key variables that can reflect in varying degrees policy credibility: sovereign ratings, foreign currency spreads, and local currency yields. The results suggest that the NMS appear to have enjoyed higher credibility compared to their peers.IMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;No. 2007/001Fiscal policyEurope, CentralFiscal policyEurope, EasternFiscal policyEuropean Union countriesCredit ratingsEurope, CentralCredit ratingsEurope, EasternCredit ratingsEuropean Union countriesDebts, PublicEurope, CentralDebts, PublicEurope, EasternDebts, PublicEuropean Union countriesBalance of paymentsimfBanks and BankingimfCurrenciesimfCurrent Account AdjustmentimfCurrent account balanceimfDeflationimfEmerging and frontier financial marketsimfExports and ImportsimfFinanceimfFinance: GeneralimfFinancial marketsimfFinancial services industryimfFinancial servicesimfGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data)imfGovernment and the Monetary SystemimfInflationimfInterest ratesimfInterest Rates: Determination, Term Structure, and EffectsimfInternational economicsimfMacroeconomicsimfMonetary economicsimfMonetary SystemsimfMoney and Monetary PolicyimfMoneyimfPayment SystemsimfPrice LevelimfPricesimfReal interest ratesimfRegimesimfShort-term Capital MovementsimfStandardsimfUnited StatesimfFiscal policyFiscal policyFiscal policyCredit ratingsCredit ratingsCredit ratingsDebts, PublicDebts, PublicDebts, PublicBalance of paymentsBanks and BankingCurrenciesCurrent Account AdjustmentCurrent account balanceDeflationEmerging and frontier financial marketsExports and ImportsFinanceFinance: GeneralFinancial marketsFinancial services industryFinancial servicesGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data)Government and the Monetary SystemInflationInterest ratesInterest Rates: Determination, Term Structure, and EffectsInternational economicsMacroeconomicsMonetary economicsMonetary SystemsMoney and Monetary PolicyMoneyPayment SystemsPrice LevelPricesReal interest ratesRegimesShort-term Capital MovementsStandards332335.4/12Kumar Manmohan1803826Hauner David1815890Jonáš Jiří495961International Monetary Fund.Fiscal Affairs Department.DcWaIMFBOOK9910965323603321Policy Credibility and Sovereign Credit4371730UNINA
